I would be interested to find out if you are going to have any more chapters on this story. Some of the chapters were pretty dark and creepy, but I am hoping that future chapters will have a brighter outlook.

God, this is killing me. I mean, not in a bad way... It's how I react to anything that I really enjoy reading/watching. It kills me that Hermione has been institutionalized, but I am so glad that Draco saved her from the disgusting place. On some level I feel bad for the night keeper, but he was extremely creepy despite his good intentions. I can't wait to read more of this story!

Oh well done. Well done Draco, and well done Lady. This had my heartrate up the entire time. Hermione is 'safe' now, but there is so much damage to be repaired. Can Draco help her? Can she come back to herself? Will de Belleme reappear (I'm sure he will)? Egad!

Draco! I love that he is competent enough to know how and when to help her, and slytherin enough to know the safest time to extract her. I am curious... in this story is the condition of hysteria supposed to be actually legitimate or is it a holdover from the Victorian mindset? Is the wizarding world privy to secret knowledge or prone to hold on to false conditions in order to have that extra thumb pressing on half of the population? Either reality would be interesting.

Hermione was right in her assumption that he was doing this to her in order to write a book... her welfare be damned. And really-- it seems that this man abused her for his own benefit, almost sterilizing her. One would think that such a population deprivation would be frowned upon by the ministry. I hope Harry gets wind of it and destroys him. Or Draco, as you don't screw with a Malfoy. Or both taq team. Raped by Hagrid would be my preference, but I'm a bit bloodthirsty about these kind of things.

    (Mwahahahahaha)

I'm glad to see that this isn't abandoned. I read the first six chapters in one shot, and have been waiting patiently for an update. I love the nuance of this story, the research you've put into it. It makes it all the more disturbing.

WELCOME BACK! I hope the move wasn't too traumatic.

It's so sad that Hermione has to be so victimised by that arse that she can't even sleep in a normal position. I'm thrilled with the way Draco so forcefully took charge in saving her and was so incredibly gentle with her after. I can't wait to see how the 'healer' is dealt with. I would be surprised if his manner is considered acceptable for much longer.

    Excited for more!!!!

Spectacular story. Am a doctor, have long had an interest in the rich history of my profession (both wonderful and horrific). Am so glad to see you updating again! I would plead for a happy ending, knowing full well that in the human (muggle) history of psychiatric disorders of this era, the closest we got to one was the shattered shell crying for her father you wrote of so well earlier. Well done! Keep writing so beautifully!

A horror story, that is such a accurate description, nice to have a name to put on it. Yes, I suppose I should have taken the warnings a little more seriously.
What I meant was that you could have written it someplace like LJ, and provided a link in AFF for anyone of your readers who might be interested in the story. I'm not sure I agree with myself though, I guess it depends on whether the "adult" is supposed to refer to just sex or all adult themes.

The new chapter is great, as always! "Very slowly, Hermione moved her arms and legs so that her ankles and wrists touched the bedframe." This line is so amazing and insightful!

I am so relieved for Hermione!
She's not in that death trap any more, and Draco will surely look after her, right?

I was beginning to worry that Draco was never going to show up. Your story is very thought provoking and it makes me so very sad to think that things like this actually happened to women. I'm hoping Hermione, once she is hopefully released, finds a way to cease this terrible practice.

I cried. I mean I literally sobbed like a little girl, when Draco showed up.
    Poor Hermione.
I can't wait for the next chapter. I hope he saves her.

    Love,
