Oh, and a few more things.

I felt so bad for poor Dobby after he'd startled Harry, but I love that you've included him.

And when Harry looked down and saw what he'd done to his arm, the shame that runs through him---so accurate.

And finally, the past tense of drag is dragged.

So, I'm thinking you're either in med school or a psych major. Am I close? That was an incredibly detailed and realistic account of the after-effects of a trauma. Once again, it was heartbreaking to read him go through that again, and his memory of Lucius knife-play in the dream was absolutely terrifying. But his complete freak-out when Hermione gets too close....this is going to be hard for him to overcome, and it's going to be tough on all three of them to get past the memory of that particular event.

I thought that the way Harry gets indignant at how Ron and Hermione manhandle him (perfect choice of word) was so in-character, as well. He's never been a touchy bloke to begin with, and I would think that people touching him without his permission was not something he cared for even before the hell he went through.

I love how Hermione and Ron have become so quick to nurse him and take care of him, though. I feel like it's partly in gratitude, but of course they want their friend to get better as quickly as he's able. Still, Hermione slipping his pain potion into his soup is just the kind of thing she'd do, even though it was lovely the way she reassured Harry the second time she attempted to give him his potions.

She's getting pretty regular about kissing him goodnight, isn't she?

And I'm so glad you didn't end the story at Harry waking up! I'd say you've got LOADS more to say with this story. Hell, it's just beginning, if you ask me. The trio healing together---that's going to take more than a few days....and it's a topic well worth exploring. Not too many people write about it.

Excellent work, Greycie, although I suspect that accolade is just getting repetitive now.

Oh, and Lucius is dead....whoa, didn't see that coming.

Well done! The scene with the three of them in bed was hot and touching. I'm a sucker for trio-esque interactions (although that's just my interpretation) lol. I really liked the end because its showed the bond between them is so deep and loving. I'm glad to see Harry's pov is up next. I'm anxiously awaiting Ron's take on the matter.

I hope you don't think I'm some kind of stalker because I comment on every chapter. I'm just in love with the story. Lol.

Not sure why I clicked on this, I don't generally read "trio" stories, and gang rape isn't my idea of fun either, but I'm glad I did. Truthfully each chapter has been stronger and stronger. By the time you got to the rape of Hermione, that was powerfully well done, and at that point you'd really brought the story up beyond just Harry-abused-by-Deatheaters stuff that's so prevalent on this site, really spelled the whole thing out with emotional depth and horror. And each chapter particularly since their escape you've ramped it up, until this chapter just nailed it, emotionally so intense from so many different directions. By the time Harry opened his eyes and Ron welcomed him back to consciousness with that unexpected-yet-thoroughly appropriate greeting - well, I'm totally emotionally invested in your story.

I saw on your profile that this is your first story. It's a really solid debut. Very much looking forward to the updates.

    No words, really.

The whole chapter was beautiful...honest and true. I feel quite devastated.

Yea another chapter!!! I like the pacing. I agree with the other reviewer who said that they need a break after all they had been through. I'm really really anxious to see what happens when Harry become fully conscience. I love the supportive Ron in this fic. It's almost like he's still trying to redeem himself from his desertion. Well I really hope that update will come soon. :p

I don't think that every chapter needs to be chock full of action. You've given us more than enough for the time being; I think it's a good idea to spend a little quiet time with our heroes. Hermione and Ron have to decompress after what they've been through, and continue to deal with in concern to Harry's health. I love how tender Hermione is with Harry as she dresses his wounds. In focusing on the way she nurses him, we can plainly see that she doesn't hold Harry at fault for the rape. I also love the way Ron remembers to watch out for Hermione's well-being even as he's fighting to take care of Harry. You make him such an admirable character; just the type of person whom you would want in a crisis. He internalizes trauma the same way that Harry does, but being in a big family has taught him how to focus on caring for others around him instead of just withdrawing into himself. It's what keeps him going.

As the poster above me noted, it's a bit odd that the adults are keeping away from Grimmauld solely based on Hermione's request, especially since Harry is so ill. I would have expected Mrs. Weasley to plonk herself on the premises and never leave until Harry was okay again. But in the earlier chapter, I like how you had Hermione play the adult to a shocked and guilty Remus. The role reversal shows how much the trio have become adults themselves, certainly after what they just had to prevail against. Their innocence is long gone, and I think the Order members realize this. It's part of the tragedy, really.

Hope to see the next chapter up soon.

nnot coping well are thet. No big suprise there. I'm just surprised no adult is with them. Leaving a trio of tortured teens alone to struggle strikes me as not quite bright.

    OMG!!!!!!!!

Greycie, you are KILLING me, here! What a heart-pounding, riveting chapter. I had a bad feeling when I started reading Harry's dream that he'd hurt himself. (Btw, you spelled Grimmauld and Godric's wrong).

Ah, so I see that Harry Apparating them out of there was not a mistake on the DE's part, but an ability that he'd suddenly manifested. I'm really intrigued to discover what's going to happen with his magical powers.

What I really loved most about this chapter was Hermione and Ron's quiet way with each other. You illustrate with this scene very well how the two of them work. I could believe their romance in the series specifically because Harry was the star that they orbited. The two of them have already become partners of a sort in protecting/nurturing their friend. I'm so glad that Ron didn't fly off the handle, that he was as shocked by what Harry did as Hermione. The fact that they both took off looking for Harry right after he Apparated away says so much of the tight bond these three have. God, I just love them so much.

I'm a bit worried about Harry's fever, and after all he's been through, to have him endure Voldemort's wrath was so difficult to read. But I just want him to wake up so that he can see that his friends love him and would never leave him. I'm wondering what will be discussed with the Order members, if Poppy has spoken to Remus yet about Harry's afflictions. I know that Ron and Hermione won't reveal much without Harry's go-ahead; they're too protective of him for that---now more than ever.

Whew! I get so antsy waiting for an update because I'm dying to find out how the story progresses, and then when I get an update, it starts all over again. This is such a great story. I'm so looking forward to seeing how the trio heal each other after this, and what Harry will become.
