Well, as sorry as I am that Narcissa is hurting, she does need to accept and feel the punishment for the error of her ways. She got off scott-free legally, so socially she will have to learn to make her own way, just as Draco is doing. Part of me was also a bit disgusted by her thoughts and tossing off of her "friend's" acceptance of her. After all she's been through, she's honestly learned nothing and not grown at all. It's sad, really. I am sorry Draco feels he should be the one to help her, as it's not his job, no matter which way you spin it. She needs to grown up, accept that she was WRONG in her actions and way of thinking, and start to shape her own future. Draco is doing fine on his own and doesn't need the extra guilt! Now, Hermione... sigh. "She could do this." A pitiful thought for her to have around her supposed friends. I think she too needs to strap on her bravery and start to stand up for herself and her beliefs. Friends don't have to agree with all you say, they simply have to support you, acknowledge if you're right and be there if you're wrong. And, her's need to know and show that for a change! Thanks, luv!! HG4eva

First off, Happy Birthday!!!!! I stumbled across this story and was instantly drawn into it, which is a rather difficult task for me, since I know what I like and really only read stories that read smoothly! Thank you for your wonderful visuals and way of speaking.... =D

You've somehow managed to make Draco/Hermione realistic. Every action, every REaction, has me going "well, that WOULD logically be how that would work out, wouldn't it?" Needless to say, I'm all a flutter over your abilities and the ways in which they shine in this story. It's intuitive and talented folks like yourself who'll keep the HP fandom alive for decades to come.

Whoa, I wasn't expecting another chapter so soon. Thanks a lot! :D

I had never thought about Narcissa's life style... Would it really matter that much if she weren't invited to a ball when her husband and son could be charged with the dementor's kiss? Well, I confess I liked seeing her like this. It was a sharp contrast with the other Narcissa, the school girl who made friends with lower status people.

I also liked the little bit of Hermione and Ron together. It felt like the books, when he suddenly showed his sweet side after one of their fights. I almost expect them to argue in the Three Broomsticks when the Malfoy topic arises...

Last but not least: Happy birthday! Wish you the best and have a wonderful time with your loved ones.

Happy Birthday!!! Another great chapter. Love the interaction with Draco and his mother. It really says a lot about how he was raised. It also says a lot about him, wanting to be better and do better than his parents. Waiting for more, please!

Chapter 20 is perfect! I actually laughed when Prescott finished his essay. I imagined him with a deep mighty voice shouting that line from Ozymandias and it was really funny. I'm falling in love with Draco's cute side, you're doing a great job portraying his emotional state when it comes to Hermione. Finally, thumbs up for Hagrid's speech! Usually authors tend to exaggerate his accent and sometimes it gets unreadable. Again, it was perfect!

OK, first let me say that I love this...very much! Sorry about people putting people pressure on you to update faster but you have to understand that everyone, myself included, just want to read this wonderful story.

I am really looking forward to more Draco/Hermione action. I like the way you are taking your time and building the anticipation. Ginny is going to be a problem but Hermione can handle her and if she can't she's better off without her.

Looking forward to reading more....whenever you're ready to let me!!!

I absolutely love this story! Draco is my fave HP character and I love the direction of this story. I never pictured him in Hufflepuff but it just makes sense. I also really like how you're building the relationship with Hermoine slowly and realistically. I can't wait for more, keep it up!

That was very promising for both them as friends and eventually more, his new friendships, his new changes being noticed (Go Hagrid, for listening), and his future. Thank you!! HG4eva

Amazing! I'm always a big SS/HG fan but honestly, Draco works just as well! Great story, I like that your not rushing into anything and the full back story, and that Hermione didn't just automatically forgive him. So great story and please update! I got back on here with the intention of looking back on my own and writing the next bit but you totally distracted me, keep it coming! - Shay
