MacDougal's closing statement made me cry. Seriously. Thank you so much for that. This fic is beautiful.

I wouldn't dismiss the charges against Narcissa. The reason why is that she and her family supported Voldemort knowing what he was about, pureblood purity and killing/enslaving "mudbloods" and all those that oppose him. They supported this ideaology and his genocidal ways. They also help bring Voldemort back and I would find it very hard to believe that she had no knowledge of this seeing as she and her husbands were deatheeaters back then and that her husband was one of the people that was there when Voldemort return in the flesh. The only reason they turned is not because they had some change of heart but because Voldemort started treating them like trash after Lucius failed to stop harry potter and the gang at the hall of prophecy (its been a while but I think that is the turning point in their status with Voldemort) and also because Voldemort tried to kill their son. It was wholly in their self-interest to betray Voldemort. Maybe she should get some leniency for lying and saying that Harry Potter was dead but dimissing the charges, No I would not and could not do that. She should, at the very least, get her magic permanently taken away,be constantly monitored, and be ordered to pay heavy restitutions to the victims and their families.

Personally, I think she should be found innocent of the crimes she was accused since all the witnesses testified that she didn't participate in the torture and murder of anyone and the solicitor did a splendid job representing her feelings as a mother and as a prisoner in her own house. If you ask the same question for Draco's trial, I'm not sure I'll feel the same. But after this episode, I'm sure Hermione will see the story from a different angle and maybe her feelings towards Draco won't be so harsh? It was a bit disappointing to see her fighting with Draco, even after Luna managed to give her some perspective on the matter of his change.

I don't know about what everyone else thinks, but I loved every moment of her trial. And, his summation was just as good as any done on any good crime drama on TV today. Thank you for that. I have my fingers crossed that she will get a punishment, but that it will be more than probation, but not as much as Azkaban. I think that would break both her and Draco. If only he would let the world see past his stoic facade, then maybe they would start to see the changes he's made and those he's still trying to make. Was he an evil little shit? Yes. But, he was also a child and even though his mistakes were monumental, he should be allowed a second chance. I look forward to everyone's reaction to the trial, the verdict, and more on Luna's support of him. Thank you! HG4eva

Really liked the first few chapters, felt like an actual continuation of HP, and that's saying something! Very well written. Got a few nits here. The guy who cast Crucio, I don't find that very likely. It is an unforgivable curse which warrants a life sentence in Azkaban. Doubt he'd cast it in front of a crowd. The later chapters felt pretty slow, not a lot going on. Draco doesn't fit with the Draco I remember, too wimpy, too diffident. That's about all the negative that comes to mind. Otherwise, solid ;)

I am a bit scared of Narcissa's sentence. I think Draco is going through enough and really doesn't need his mother going to prison for endangering him. It could kill him. I don't know what everyone will say when questioned, but I hope her sentence is fair. Draco needs some kind of hope. I don't know what I think of Hermione right now. Her anger and mistrust was justified, but they way she went off on him the last time they spoke doesn't bode well. He wants her forgiveness as some sort of absolution, but I think he will have a VERY long wait, so he shouldn't hold his breath. And, Ginny... again, no idea what to think. Her prejudice and anger is understandable to a point, but her blatant disregard for any of his efforts is sad. Thank you again and I look forward to more REALLY soon! HG4eva

Nicely done (again) and I'm glad you updated so fast. I suppose the next chapter will show us the trial of Narcissa... I'm hoping Andromeda Tonks will make an appearance? It would be nice for Narcissa to see a familiar face among the crowd, and I'm sure Andromeda would be there for her sister. What will Hermione testify, I wonder... :D

Ah man now I want to cry! I hope Hermione has learned her lesson and thinks about what Draco has gone through. I don't think she realizes he was only trying to protect himself and his family just like she was. Now that that's out of the way I hope we can get down to some happy stuff!

Wow, Hermione just lost it there in the end, didn't she? Who knew she had so much venom in her or that he had so much self-loathing in him? They all need a good therapist. lol Thanks, hon! HG4eva

Wow! Thanks for another wonderful chapter! I have one question though....do you think Hermione needs to be so distrusting of Draco? What I'm getting at is Hermione always seems so compassionate and forgiving of others that I figures that she would be a little more understanding to what he's going through. Anyway, great story and I'm definitely looking forward to another chapter!

Great! I loved the new chapters. I have to admit I was as much in shock as the characters, when Malfoy changed houses to Hufflepuff. As was said before, your Luna is great and it feels right that she should be the first to openly forgive Malfoy. Thumbs up for Myrtle's appearance in the prefect's bathroom. Keep up the good work! :)

I must go to bed, so I will keep this short, but I love your Luna, your frustrated Hermione, pensive Ginny, and new-Draco. His gift and her acceptance were simply beautiful! Thank you, HG4eva

That was a great 2 chapters. They were very thought-provoking and I loved that you have an Hermione who is not instantly forgiving and trusting. Thank you and I look forward to more! HG4eva
