so, I'm gathering everytime Harry does something overtly protective or supportive of his husband we get new metal in the ring? Does it work with draco to? As for Luc sheesh, the way he's acting are they sure he's all there mentally. Why is he so desperate... he's gone from childish to slightly deranged. Like he needs his head read.

Alright, so I've been eyeing this story for a while now and finally decided to give in and read it.

It's fabulous! It's very well written and the storyline is keeping me on the edge of my seat. It's also nice that you're taking the time to develop Draco's and Harry's characters as well as their relationships. I can't wait to read more.

I'm just hoping that you're the type of author who finishes their stories!

    About #12...

Damn..am I missing something are you updating
every two days???? There's no way I can be this
    far behind. O_O

ANYway, after reading this chapter, all I can
say is...WEEEEEE!!! *with much fanfare!!!* :-D

That was some exciting s***!!!! :-)
I can't believe Lucius would be THAT stupid. What
was he trying to prove? But, at least he, indirectly,
pushed Harry & Draco closer together....hell it's going
to be hard getting that bond dissolved now.

Oh, by the way, it hit while reading the last chapter, I
do believe Ginny needs to DIE! But, that's being to harsh.
So, how about this...the boys marry other partners, BUT
    remain married themselves.

No, that wouldn't work, that would be bigamy. So, we go back
to killing Ginny & throwing Astoria down a well, hopefully
with a dead girl at the bottom. :-)

This sentence confused me. "like a marble door poised on hydraulic pistons." Draco deals with muggles in this story, does he know about mechanical stuff like that? Or was I not to think of this as a car metaphor?

I do so love the fics you write where the get along a bit more quickly. Great stuff.

It seems as if Lucius has forgotten that he can only hold the bond over them as long as he's alive. I would love to see a reminder that his unfortunate and untimely death would release the bond and that an Auror might know exactly how to engineer such a death, couched in such language that Pensieve testimony would be open to interpretation. In actuality, I find the lack of action against Lucius to be disappointing at best. As head of the family, perhaps Draco should take away every single privilege Lucius has, just as a reminder that he can, Lucius would understand that. Right now, he thinks Draco is weak. I would have to agree.

well, it's nice to know I'm not the only one worried about childrens. XP
Lucious, you worm. You utter, utter slime. I swear he's not all there the way he's carrying on. Childish doesn't begin to describe it. Where'd the smooth, slippry lucious we all loved to hate go. This attempt at control is kinda clumsy. Draco's not gonna be happy about this.

Wonderful chapter! It was such a nice interlude
between them, even if they were 'feeling each
other out' and seeing where the other stood, at
    least on Harry's part.

What can I say...I like reading chapters where
there is some type of reflection of some sort.

in spite of the progress made Harry is still pretty deep in denial huh. But I'm glad he's slowly starting to come around. I'm suprised he hasn't cracked having to carry all that alone, especially with that hints that he had to do something more than jusut kill the thing to get away. I'm glad he at least talk about it to Malfoy. I look forward to finding out who is still hunting him and why.

I'm really enjoying this story so far. I'm thinking that Harry needs to stop being so damn stubborn and face reality, haha. Fanfictions like these make me love Draco just a bit more with each story I read. Keep up the great work. I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Dang, I need to get on the ball, you're updating
faster than I can review. :-)

    1. Okay, it wasn't a tree he was inflicted with, but
    a 'blood/magic-sucking-sounds-like-a-damn-leech' creature.
    All I can say is....damn. *shudders* O_o

    2. I can see the understanding is at least developing
between them. Now, we need some openess of some sort from
Harry and Draco's ability to be able to LISTEN without
inserting comments when it isn't necessary OR to put it
simply he needs to show some damn tact more often.

    3. You know it been awhile since you've done a cringe-worthy
story, though this IS tame compared to 'Forgive Those
Who Trespass', now THAT was like looking at a horrible
accident, but you couldn't turn away from it. :-)

    3. By the way, it sounds like...or maybe I should say the
wizards who took Harry were they looking at him as some
    sort of sacrifice?

It kills me that the two of them are still struggling to trust each other, but it's so fitting at the same time. They are each so set in their respective points of view; of course it will take time to see past themselves. :) I'm glad to see it starting. Harry's story is heartbreaking. I am worried for him, for what may have happened as a result of the kidnapping and the attack. I am SO curious about the whole thing! Who? Why? What was that thing and what did it do and can it stay far away from me, please? ;) I know you can't answer any of that, but I'm still dying to know. I'm looking forward to Harry learning to value himself and to trust Draco and Narcissa. Thanks for updating so frequently! I always love your writing.

you know i resisted reading this first cause let's face it there are a lot of forced bond stories out there. Some are good but most are nowhere near that. But i was bored and couldn't find another story to read and i thought hey lom is an awesome writer so even if the premise is common the way she goes about it will be good. I was so right. And i love the way it's unfolding. i wish it was going faster, the updates not the plot, but i'm greedy and needy that way :-)
