Reviews for The Marriage of True Minds

Wow, I wonder if Harry ever thought of himself as acting like a Pureblood^^
But I'm a bit worried: Is this bond like an ordinary marriage where you get your name back after the divorce? Because I wouldn't put it past the Malfoys to try to keep their divorced spouses under their thump by insisting they keep the name Malfoy even after the divorce... And I don't think Harry would react very well if that were the case...

Anyway, I'm really curious where Harry got his scars from. Can't wait to see^^

    Brilliant chapter, as always!

This chapter made a step, I'll admit. Harry covered himself in glory explaining why he wanted children of his blood and his name. Draco was grasping at straws when he said it was an odd want. The chicks are choosing fabric swatches for their roost right now.

I will look forward to the gift causing Draco much trouble. Unfortunately, the odds are against it being as much trouble as he deserves.

Harry has a hard head and I wonder how long it will be before he realises that Narcissa at least is genuine in her efforts for his comfort.
And how long it will take until we get the back story on the scars (hint hint nudge hint... yeah, i know sublte as a brick in the face. ^^)
Harry had a point about his kids name though. Of course he's going to want to carry on the potter line... and possibly the black line to if he inherited that. Suprised Draco would poke him over that.

I am curious, I know the two will remain together since its a H/D story but if the bond was to break would Harry's statue disappear? I am wondering for the children they would surrogates?

    About Ch 6:

This was updated fast! I'm impressed! I'm also impressed that we're seeing some cracks in Harry and Draco's personas in front of the other person. The Malfoy statues are super cool. I'm wondering what it means that Harry's scars don't show up but I'm sure we'll figure it out later. I'm amused that this is Harry's first doubt about Ginny, that he only wants her for the children she can bring him. I'm interested to see how that issue eventually gets reconciled... Would the equilibrium between the Malfoys and the Potters shifting after the marriage lead to more debates on the issue of name and inheritance, etc? Or is that already a done deal now that Harry is a part of the Malfoy family?

I like how Narcissa seems to be the one
reaching out to him. I hope she is the one
he reaches for, when he encounters his darkness
    at the Manor.

..and what is it that Draco has to show?
Unless he's going to give a history lesson, which
    would be interesting.

I'm surprised Ginny, if not Harry, is giving up so easily on the contest issue. The Malfoys stood higher in public regard and in property the last time the law was invoked, but this time? Harry is heir to both the Potter and the Black properties, and he is the saviour of the wizarding world, while the Malfoys are deatheaters. I think things are quite different now.

Hmm. Yes. Still dislike this Draco, think he doesn't deserve Harry, REALLY wish he would get his lazy arse humiliated in public. Oh, and Pansy too. Maybe if she managed to hurt Harry with whatever trash she intends to send as a gift, maybe Draco could be implicated as an accessory and the two of them could spend some time in Auror custody. Such pretty dreams I can think of.

Maybe I am getting burned out of slash because right now I am hoping that Harry does end up with Ginny. I will stick with this story as I am curious about the darkness that has Harry in its grip.

    About Ch 5:

Go Narcissa! I am really enjoying her soft conversations with Harry. If she keeps it up I feel like she'll have a chance of winning him over. I love this whole business about Draco believing that Harry belongs at the Manor even as he is extremely frustrated by the circumstances. I hope he finds some other way to exercise his "aggression at seeing his husband". :P I can't wait to see what Draco is going to show us in the next chapter but I'm also insanely curious about what happens to Harry in the dark. Something like his muscles withering away? That gives me the creeps but I still want to know!

ohhhhh, Draco's getting all firey. ^^
Still if all forced marriages end up getting the Malfoy's what they want, doesn't this mean the longer Luc holds it the less chance he has of heirs? This is soooo gonna come back to kick his tail.
btw I had a thought. Harry is a sole heir of 1 maybe 2 noble families... surely there'd be legislation about that somewhere. I doubt the ministry anf the families themselves would want them to die out cause their sole heir was filched. at least 1 of his kids or grand kids should be able to take the name... or would they just get subsumed by the Malfoys... that'd suck

Finally find enough time to go through the missing chapters...it is really a new start between not only the two of them, but maybe 3 families (the Malfoys, the Greengrass as well as the Weasleys) - would they have any meetings involving all of them? Such as having meeting between Narcissa as well as Molly...Molly would be so so worried...how's about Ron and Hermione? Would they visit Harry at the Manor? Would we see Blaise and Pansy?

I esp. like how Narcissa try to make Harry being more comfortable at the Manor...just wondering what kind of relationship would it turn out, esp. when Draco and Harry make the marriage become real...

"Harry, you are being rude," she said softly. "I have asked you to call me Narcissa."
-damn, for a second, I thought she was going to bitch-slap him. O_o

You know, I find myself actually becoming..impatient while reading this.
When are the fireworks going to start??? When is Ginny going to get kicked
to the curb??? When will Harry & Draco make a connection???

    I wanna knooooow!!!!

Draco is being such a huge a---wipe, I almost wish this wasn't a H/D. Truly, he doesn't deserve Harry. Way beyond the fact that this is entirely his family's fault, I thought his distain of Harry's lack of knowledge regarding this type of marriage was unreasonable and childish. Not sure I've ever disliked a Draco as much as I do this one. Disappointed in Narcissa for carrying tales back to Draco behind Harry's back as well. Quite the trust builder, she is. Between the 3: Lucius, Draco and Narcissa, they don't seem to have redeeming qualities, do they?
