I like it. It was a very rare coupling and yet you wrote them in a believable way. Practically cannon if you take into account what they would have been like when the war trauma set in afterwards. Bill being rather selfish and resentful of his lot is understandable of someone who is used to doing things his way and not being tied down. To suddenly be saddled with a husband who spent a good chunk of his life terrorizing his siblings can make a guy hostile. As for Severus, you also portrayed him quite well. Many people write him as completely turning over a new leaf and becoming a ray of sunshine to be around when he miraculously servives the war. Your Snape is very Slytherin in his actions. He knows he could have done a lot worse so he doesn't make waves. He allows Bill to have his way and rarely lets his tongue get away from him. He's not changed perse, he's just realistic and that is how, I at least, felt about his portrayal.

Also, the Weasley's reactions was quite unique. Most stories have them as a rather accepting lot or at least Molly being the figurehead of those supporting her children and their decisions. Your Molly was anything but that and much more believable because of it. Parents usually have high expectations of thier children and Mrs. Weasley is no exception, especially if you go by her cannon version and her aversion to Fluer. She wants grandchildren and thinks Bill could do much better if the fever takes his husband. It's quite a good write of her in a different light.

All in all, I liked it very much. It was different, well written and the fact that Bill realizes he might care somewhat for his spouse in the end was rather sweet without making it fluffy. Not to mention that even in the end not everyone was welcoming them with open arms was impressive. Not a lot of authors keep their stories realistic at the end despite the fact some parents never get over who thier kids marry, or even talk to them for marrying them in the first place. Having the Weasleys divided over this issue makes them more real.

You did quite the job on this. Congrats. Hopefully my own creative juices will start flowing and I can get back to writing my story. Won't hold my breath but fingers crossed right?
