    Thanks for the new story! It's very interesting so far. :-) I know he's not the focus of "Flare," but I'm loving the little glimpses you give of Ron. It's like the thing you wrote about him a couple chapters ago: people are so quick to dismiss him as a hot-headed lug that they're surprised by the sharpness of his "sneering" expression, or something along those lines. Fanfiction writers/readers tend to do the same thing, and it catches me off-guard (pleasantly so) for him to suddenly appear so... competent. Dangerous. Anyway, it's a nice touch. I'm looking forward to reading about Draco and Harry's encounter!

    This is definitely an interesting story. ;-]

    1. Harry didn't flinch. Fletcher had found out his reaction to that word early on, when she'd accidentally used it around him, and
    used it again and again until Harry stopped wincing. Her philosophy was that she wanted her Aurors to be proof against any emotional
    or psychological distress their enemies might try to inflict on them with mere words.

    That's a good strategy you laid out there, something that could be with young people
    struggling with low self-esteem, while dealing with their peers. Though it would
    depend on the situation they're in.

    2. I can't wait until you explain WHAT the deal is with Draco???

    Soooo.....I'm wondering what everyone else's reactions are going to be. Will Ron tell Hermione or the rest of the Weasleys? Will a certain nosy beetle-type animagus catch wind of this and smear Harry across the Prophet again? I'm gonna keep watching.

    I am totally loving this story :) I'm hooked and I want to know more, like is Hary the only one to see Draco's obsessive staring, or is Ron just that thick? I want to know what Draco knows... he did seem really eager to know that Roisen is dead. Hm, will Harry start to realize that Draco's touch feels good? Maybe Draco is the only one to get that reaction out of him... What else did Harry gain from the spell.... ohhhhhh so many questions!!!!!!! Can't wait until the next chapter.

    Bit of a ccatch 22 that one. If he wants control he's got to treat them as part of his body but on the other hand, if they're part of his body it's going to be hard ... and quite possibly painful to be rid of them. (a point rather hammered home but foolishly yanking his feathers.)
    It surprised me that Ron was willing to ssend him home iwth Malfoy but I suppose he was willing to take what he could get.
    I can't wait to see what happens next. I would think the potions makers and healers will be thrilled to have a source of tears/ feathers etc on hand. Is this the extent of the alteration or will more be coming later? Cause so far who ever mentioned was right, wings and teaars do not a phoenix make. i think he'd be a sort of 1/4 blood kind of thing.
    looking forward to more.
    I like the head auror's attitude. sshe stikes me as a very tough lady.
