    shakes head at har.
well crappidy. seriously. dealing with voldi quirell was rough enough with ron and mio at his side. As a pacifist with no back up and lying to and manipulating his parent... I dunno how he's going to pull this off, fore sight/ seer abilities regardless.
it will be interesting to see what lily knows. there must be something of the skeletal variety lurking in her back story for that sudden bout of pale face.

Aw Harry you gotta learn to tell people about your problems! It's frustrating because I'm exactly like that but not with snake bites. I'm from Australia, home of the poisonous everything, so you tell someone when you get bit. I hope that it will all blow up in Harry's face so he learns a good lesson, but it's cute how he's always trying to protect Snape, I always felt Snape needed that. Another great chapter!

Well, ouch. Har's thing about not worrying or bothering ppl is going to get him killed at this rate.
    So, I'm guessing Nagini?
When this all comes out into the open, Snape is going to be hurt... and disappointed... and probably pissed.

Aw lots of perfect little moments in this chapter. Severus and Lucius am I correct in guessing there's some bow-chicka-wow-wow going on there? Lol. And the snake 'sugah' - loved it. Kyaa I love it! All right I'll be weird over here now. Good chapter, eager for the next one!!

Sev and Luc together? Oh, that's just to adorable and why not. Luc's already done his duty to his line and Har once he gets used to the idea will probably be supportive.
Oh, that is interesting! I wonder what roll Har's new scaly friends will play in future... especially now that Voldi has been iced for the moment.

Oh what a great chapter! I loved it, I'm going to assume it was the Dursleys being their usual irritating selves. Obviously Petunia wouldn't stop being Lily's sister, and with he Potters still alive - oh brain hurt, I hope it will all become clear in time but I'm horribly impatient and will guess numerous theories.
Oh and yay Weasleys, they're my favourite family though I am starting to love the Malfoys thanks to you! Not much else to say other then I'm eagerly awaiting your update, as always.

So Harry doesn't spend ALL his time with Draco during summer, does he? :)
Thanks for the great chapters! It was such a treat when I finally had enough time to read fanfiction again to find 2 new chapters... With some particularly enjoyable moments, like the hint of Drarry (I wonder why Harry is more embarrassed when Draco kisses him... Could it be that his feelings for him are not completely brotherly?), fun times with the twins (I really enjoy how you show some small differences in Fred and George's characters too), adorable father-son times between Harry and Severus (who knew the fearful Potions Master had a sweet tooth?), Harry using his staff (which is actually more like I expected it to be, since I was a bit surprised by the pendant form), and last but not least the first showing of Harry's parseltongue abilities! Now that was something I looked forward to and I can't wait until someone else discovers it! Actually, couldn't Harry already have heard about it, living with people familiar with Voldemort and 'darker' magic? Also, I didn't think Harry making the glass disappear in the zoo would be that shocking. After all, couldn't it be considered as accidental magic (like a child without a wand yet)?
I thought Harry's opinion of Muggles was really interesting too. He wasn't completely positive about them (like Mr Weasley, whose fascination for them is probably more benevolent) and was even a bit condescending towards them - although the Dursleys can't be good examples of Muggles anyway (but what a coincidence it was to meet them!). I guess he might also be influenced by his upbringing (Snape and the Malfoys being not great fans of Muggles)?
Harry showed his darker side too, when he aimed at hurting Dudley, which is always fascinating since it's such a great change from his regular 'Mr Nice Guy' persona. I wonder if what Voldemort did to him will also bring out further 'darker' outbursts? Not that I want Harry to become the next Dark Lord, but it's interesting that his personality can have different sides too.
I also liked Harry meeting all the Weasleys in their environment and Harry liking reptiles (I would love for him to be proud of being able to talk to snakes when he realises it's uncommon among wizards - although the link to Voldemort might turn him off it).
Great read, as usual. :) Can't wait for more! Will we have more Drarry moments soon? (fingers crossed!)

Thank you for yet another lovely chapter.
Thanks for the zoo scene my sick mind started producing images of James freaking the living daylight out of the Dursleys during family reunions.
The story is a good read. I love the way you don't rush things between H & D.
    Looking forward to reading more.

Sorry about that, I guess I just forgot since it's been a while since I read the first chapter.
In any case, I didn't mean to upset you (but you have to admit it's bound to happen again; sometimes people just forget).
Anyway, still really enjoy the story. :)

now that was a MOST interesting way to re work that scene. What interests me is why Petunia would have bothered to tell her dear hubby at all, unless he knew her as a kid and therefore know of her 'freakish' sister... unless they had a part in Harry's abandonment.
