Reviews for Family Means More Than Blood

interesting. the question remains, did voldi want harry dead or by his side. A seer like harry loose would definitely be bad for business. I'm glad the priest is backing harry's thoughts on his dreams.
And the review above mine just asked all the Q's i wanted to ask but in a better way so I'll just leave it at that. >.

Oh, how interesting and enjoyable! Seems like Harry was saved by the Gryffindors this time. :) I hope he'll also tell his father about his suspicions concerning Pettigrew. Shouldn't Snape be more careful of the DADA teacher too (particularly with their past history)? I'd think with what happened before he would be quite paranoid about Harry's safety (and not too trustful of others)... Also, I hope Harry will tell High Priest Sephiran about the black rain and his vision in the crystal ball. Maybe if the High Priest thought there were good reasons to worry, he could relay his fears to Dumbledore and the latter would take him more seriously than Harry. Speaking of him, shouldn't he also feel that there's something special about Harry - because of his all-knowing ways but also if Voldemort felt it?

Does Voldemort want to make Harry his heir (or 'more' - as disturbing as that sounds) or just use his seer's powers? Because Harry doesn't seem to be the Boy Who Lived here. I hope Voldemort won't use/hurt Draco to achieve his goal... And by the way, will Draco have some Veela traits and see Harry as his mate? I can't see Harry denying him, but I'm sure their fathers wouldn't be too thrilled about the situation.

Also, there's the problem of James and Lily Potter. If they are not dead but Harry seems to be their biological son, could there be some memory charms involved (and performed by who)? Because James didn't seem to recognise Harry at all, although Lily's reaction was more ambiguous. And even though this story is AU, I can't see them just abandoning their son when they seem quite happy to have a daughter (unless they had a very good reason but I can't see what)...

Now I also wonder what Harry's House will be at Hogwarts. He seems more like a Hufflepuff in personality at the moment (although he's still young), but his father and godfather wouldn't be super happy about that, right? Slytherin would probably be the best (although maybe a bit dangerous), so that he could stay with Draco and his father. But you decide! I hope he'll stay friendly to other Houses, though, because I really enjoy his role as a sort of mascot for Hogwarts - and his friendship with Bill (quite unusual among the Weasley brothers too). Does he also know the other Weasley children at Hogwarts?

Been away on holidays. It was nice to come back to two wonderful chapters. Harry and Draco are so cute, scary Dark Lords are not cute.
I'm gonna take a guess that Harry is psychic. There's no Voldy link this time which also explains the other non-Voldy related vision. Me thinks Voldy will try using this to his advantage. I'm curious about the Potters, I think Lily is his mum but abandoned at birth for some reason. Why though? He's so sweet and loving. I want one. I cannot wait for your next chapter! My guesses are driving me insane.

Oh my! I'm glad I gave this story a second chance after being iffy about the whole elvish religion thing. But this is keeping me on the edge of my seat as I can't wait until the next chapter unfolds. I was surprised at the interaction between Haryon and the Potters, I can't wait to see what happens.

woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! *does the manga fall over in shock. The potters are still around?! What the bloody hell?! Harry has a sister? What of Nev's parents, are they still about? Does this mean Harry really was abandoned... or was he stolen? Where their memories altered? Oh soooooooooooooooo many possible scenarios. Put me out of my misery. more back story pllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaassssseeeee!
on a less dramatic note, so our little Har's a seer huh, that's a twist.

LOVING this story! Can't wait for more. I know this isn't the kind of review that makes one's entire day but i'm a lazy git. This feels novel and engaging. There is nothing that comes across as rehashed. I like each of the characters and i'm curious about harry and Severus, harry and Draco, the little white kitten, the seer thing and of course - most of all about Voldemort and how you will cast him. Will he be absolute evil, repulsive, bigotted and debauched - an insane monster hell bent on killing haryon, or will he be the supremely intelligent and manipulative fiend subtly observing his development with avarice and crafting machinations to bring him to the point he requires?! Or something in between? or something entirely different? Looking forward to finding out more!

    Chap. One

aw. I love stories where Severus is either a father or father figure to Harry. And he is so sweet in his own way to him. I think this is the first one I've read where he actually raises him.

I do have a question. I remembered reading this chapter on another site, so I searched a bit, and found where it is in fact posted on your account at ff.net and has been for a few years. I'm not sure why I didn't finish it. I'm a little mad at myself lol. I'll definitely be reading now. I was wondering if you were changing the story at all as you post it here, or if you planned on editing and reposting over there. If you prefer, you can answer me privately at deasejr@gmail.com. Thank you and I look forward to reading more!

Ooh getting spooky. I had a feeling when Harry had the dream Narcissa wouldn't make it. Is he psychic or is it his connection with Voldie? Ah you won't tell me, the suspence is all part of the fun.
I like how you've kept what I feel is anvery important aspect of Harry's personality. The tendency he has to keep things to himself, while the books present it as a sort of stubbornness with a hint of fear your take is a lot more relatable for me. I do the exact same thing when i have a problem and try to fix it myself out of fear of upsetting my family, though I'm not a trash-baby and have no fears of being tossed out on bin night. It's just that desire to keep everyone happy.
Good chapter as always, love your cute little Harry+Draco scene. They're so cute! More cuteness, love the cuteness! Looking forward to next chapter, as I always am XD

oh Harry. He makes me so sad. I wish he knew his birth parents hadn't abandoned him... though i suppose hogwarts: a history wouldn't be on his reading list and even if it were, would he even know who his birth parents were? I'm glad he was there for draco though.

Oh no, poor Narcissa and Draco and her family! I wonder what Lucius will do now...
Interesting school Harry is in. And it's nice to see that the students are the same as in any school, including bullies. Particularly among elves, who are usually portrayed as always wise and peaceful in many stories.
Will Harry ever learn who his parents were? Was he really abandoned? Is there a link between him and Voldemort (besides Severus)? Dumbledore's behaviour seems to indicate that Harry will have some role to play in the war against Voldemort... but maybe I'm wrong?
