Reviews for This Enchanted Life

    Woah, woah!

I am not really into mystery novels, but your story sure is interesting!

I really look forward to the rest of the fics.

Each new case makes me more anxious. Just who is the Phantom (as I'll call the blue-eyed twisted now)?
What is he scheming? Is he waiting for the Socrates Department to eliminate all rivals or what?
I mean Phantom just showed up when the next hint or twisted was in reach....

I just really hope Harry doesn't give in to the temptation. But I guess that makes him and Draco even then, huh?

I don't think Harry will be able to hide his "infatuation" with Draco for much longer. Lionel did strike me as being somewhat dense that he didn't notice Harrys crush on him. Draco however just WILL notice. He isn't a sneaky Slytherin for nothing! :D

I'll leave you a review again sometime soon, either at #12 or between.

    Greetings, Heartless93

    Aww..is that the end??? :-(

WELL then...I thought it ended on a good note, confesssions were made,
Harry kicked arse AND Draco has to pray to Merlin for patience, until
    Harry makes up his mind.

In other words, just your usual 'exasperating day in the life of'...anyway
see you in the next story.

    1. It's official...a flirtatious Draco is a cute Draco, though he
wouldn't exactly like the word 'cute'. :-) I must admit if Draco
dropped anymore hints they would have been bombs.

    2. As I was reading the conversation between Harry & Leah...and the
reluctance to mention the 'Other-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named', I thought
is it possible that HARRY could come up with an idea of using different
words that refers to Old Blue Eyes, while speaking about him? That way
whatever so called link Leah thinks OBE might have won't be...activiated
    or whatever.

    3. By the way, good ending....AND did u mention that you had another author's
    name here?

*reads last two lines of paragraph & actually emits a fangirl squeal* I'm sorry, I know
you want a detailed commentary on how this chapter was [it was GOOD!], but reading the fact
that Draco now knows how Harry feels makes me wonder how you'll do the next scene.

Will you have Draco drop hints of his own? Will Draco act coy? Though a coy-acting Draco is
ALWAYS good, nothing like a good love game. :-)

How about acting coy AND dropping hints?

Oh! But I DO have to mention something about dear Alex...do I smell auror?

    1. Well, I don't know about anybody else, but I'M glad Harry's visions
will be helful in some way...hopefully.

    2. "Thank you, Lady Yelton," Draco, and he knew that she knew that he knew she didn't deserve the title,
-okay, you know what, you should go ahead & do a oneshot crack fic....and just 'he knew/she knew' to your
    heart's content. ;-)

    3. I actually can't wait for the kiss that I KNOW is coming, but knowing you, you're not going to
let it be simple & sweet. Naw, you'll complicate things, make folks doubt themselves AND go the ackward
route, instead of just making it sweet & simple. Can't you do sweet & simple? :-)

I liked this chapter, it's the first time I've seen them bounce ideas
off each other, *gasp* as if they were partners! :-)

...and their reading each other works wonders for me, too. Keep it
    coming!

again with the death defying stuff Har. Still, this time he's got a good reason and this time his 'little crush' might well be reciprocated. Oh, now that is scary. Being able to infect other? shivers.
blue eyes must be an utter nutter if he thinks that's a good thing.

What was the vision you were looking for?
-oh you know, those 'you're-going-down-a-dark alley-then-OH MY GOSH-something-surprises-and-try-to-harm-you'
    visions that Harry have. :-)

Anyway, I will say this, if Draco doesn't become Head Auror after reading this chapter, I'm
    kicking the author's behind!

This is my 3rd time trying to review..

    1. Then Draco stirred and murmured, opening grey eyes with a soft haze of sleep across them, and asked,

I was wondering, will Harry ever have one of those
REAL visions he used to have when this series first
started...or are they taking a back seat now?

not really no. har has a lot past lurking to rear up and bite him than draco does atm. That last line though, it made me smirk. Doomed indeed Har, mwahahahaha.

heh, they're jealous of and for each other... even if Har is still very much splashing about in Egyptian rivers. Something tells me they're not going to get out of this emotionally in tact. It'll be interesting to see what they globes really do.

    Chapter 3

Will you please tell me that I'm an insufferable idiot and remind me to ALWAYS read EVERYTHING of yours no matter WHAT it is because it WILL turn out interesting even if it looks boring and/or uninteresting at first? Because WOW.

I kept looking at you updating the Cloak and Dagger 'verse, and ... not reading any of it. I think I may have read parts of the second story, but didn't really know what was going on, had lost my internet connection and couldn't keep up, and just wasn't all that interested. Then I got the email about this update, and liked the name, and when I started reading it and realised it was part of the series-that-isn't-quite-a-series, I knew I'd have to go back and reread the whole thing from the beginning.

So I did. I'm all caught up, supremely overwhelmed, and incapable of leaving a proper review. Every Wednesday, you say this'll be updated? I am now (though you can't see me) adding a time-turner to my Christmas wish-list, so that I can skip ahead to each next Wednesday and read the new updates. This is absolutely wonderful, I love every part of it, and I was an unconscionable idiot to not have been keeping up with this all along (though it was rather wonderful to be able to sit down and read them all at once, like I did. I wish I had the patience to ignore everything of yours until it's complete, I'd be much happier overall not having to wait and angst and roar about waiting for updates.) I cannot wait for next Wednesday. I may have to reread these again, just for the joy of it.

And since I'm here (and neglected to leave a review on the proper fic) I may as well say that so far, (until I read this one, with the globes, which I have a feeling I'm going to love) my favourite of them all was "Working With Them." I adored the third-character POV watching the subtle interplays between Harry and Draco, the lovely UST that was very prettily displayed, and just about everything to do with it. I had a more detailed rave of it in my mind just after I read it, and I may go back and try to recapture some of it for you when I'm not quite so LDKFKGHDSKN about the series. 8D Till Wednesday, my life will be incomplete.

There was a scene in this chapter where Harry meets his old flame who had his back to a tree and pretty much told him he regrets not reciprocating Harry's love for him that reminded me,faintly, of a scene in another fantasy story. A fantasy story written by a rather prolific fantasy/sci-fi author which featured a gay protagonist as the main character who wielded magic like nobody's business.
