I think this was an interesting chapter. I cannot wait to find out what the warlocks true motivations were. Why did they choose to attack Potter like that and where are they hiding? I hope that someone decides to have a conversation with Teddy about the werewolf thing. I look forward to the next chapter.

good grief, Astoria is completely ridiculous. Still, at least he's managed to get her to stand back.

hmmmm, i wonder if recruiting Ted will help... i suppose it can't really hurt. will Ted eventually stop ducking his girlfriend... before she gives up on him?

Why hasn't har spoken to Al?

heh, i wonder how har will go about snagging his Malfoy to be. I look forward to seeing that. ^^

Okay, so I'm guessing that Harry is aware of his sexuality whereas Draco has never considered his? I also would love to know why Teddy is avoiding the topic of Victorie. Is it possible that he's afraid of passing on the Werewolf gene like Harry thought previously or is he worried about having children. Is he actually gay and not sure how to tell her that he loves her as a person but isn't attracted to her? I look forward to your next chapter.

Okay, I know I'm not tripping, that chapter was shorter than usual,
because I don't read THAT fast.

But, anyway, it's good to see Draco get one over Astoria for a change
AND I hope Teddy makes progress with the boys.

Okay, maybe Scorpius isn't as intelligent as his father. Setting yourself on fire is pretty stupid! Loved it!

Hmm...I think Hugo needs to be slapped really good. Lol.

And haha for Scorpius not quite getting the reactions he wanted. I'm liking this story more and more.

I THOUGHT har's endless calm was somehow unnatural. Now i know why. it's a cultivated calm. one he's trained himself to assume. no wonder he can be so serene and diplomatic.

geh, hugo, brat as he is is a total waste of space atm. I mean, i can appreciate the weird that a persons feels when they realize, oh, wow, my parents are actually HUMAN. they make mistakes, do stupid crap, make idiots of themselves and so on but he doesn't have to carry on like har getting injured and then accepting the limitations of those injuries is a personal insult to him. really, at the time i'm sure he barely rated on hars concern list. universe doesn't revolve around him no matter what he thinks.

nicely played draco. scorpious was one upped this time. i wonder if that will make him actually stop and think.

hmmm, i wonder how long it will be before har acknowledges his attraction as just that. he's not much in the habit of lying to himself anymore.

*snicker* I think it's cute how Draco wants to argue and be angry more but Harry's responses just leave him no where to go with that. Must be very frustrating for Draco lol.

I also think Draco had a great response to his son when he tried to trip him up with his question and make them all seem like that had no experience to back Harry's theory. Really well done.

Ladies & Gentlemen, Draco Malfoy has proved he still has the stuff that
Purebloods are made of and then some. I think he missed his calling, should
have been a politician/Ministry official after all...

Ah yes, the teenage mentality of always being right. Believing that one has been in the world long enough to know it all, when so much more of one's life is left undetermined. I understand that Albus might follow his friend, but I'm not entirely sure of that. I mean Albus tends to have a good relationship with his father and Scorpius seems to have had a good relationship with Harry until Harry started to befriend his father. I guess in the end the question that drives Scorpius's reactions is whether or not he's willing to accept the possibility that his father could change. Does he trust his respect for Harry or continue to harbor his own mistrust and dislike for his own father. I cannot help but wonder what the reaction will be for both of them when Harry and Draco discover their growing romantic feeligns for on another. One might assume that Albus and Scorpius might have some relationship a bit strong that friendship. If their fathers got involved, one could wonder if it would impact their own friendship and possible relationship. I'm not sure if my assessment is correct for those two, but I think you may have left some little hints here and there for the two.

even if it was a rush job... pathetic effort there astoria. definitely sub par. I be ashamed to take credit for such a sloppy job.
shakes head at hugo. stupid, stupid kid. har is so level headed through all of this and his 'subtle' encouragement of draco had me grinning my head off.
this fic is really interesting cause while nothing much seems to be happening, it feels like worlds are moving at the same time... does that make sense?
glad mio is finally willing to crack open her mind a bit.

    1. You know, part of me wishes that Harry challenges Hugo in a firm way
that doesn't offend the Weasley parents & put that young man in his place!
The problem is Hugo has been allowed to get away with murder and allowed to
'buck up' to Harry whenever he feels like it...and Harry hasn't played the role
of alpha male and put him in his place.

Now Hugo feels invincible and unchallenged...so yeah, Harry has to do it or it
will become a bigger headache as time goes on.

    2. I can't remember if I asked you this in the past, but are you into politics?
This story almost has a political air to it.

I do think this is coming to a head. I cannot wait to see what happens at Hogwarts. I don't know if Albus would automatically follow Hugo, as I'm sure he knows the conflict that's existed between Harry and Hugo for such a long time. I also think the other nieces and nephews will have to be considered. Rose is still there as she is in the same grade as the other two and a year older than Hugo. Not to mention the fact that Lily is there as well. Many of them have visited while Harry was researching and spending time in the library. Also, if Harry managed to walk on his leg and stand upon it, you know if Draco manages to administer more of the potion to him before the event, may discredit Hugo and give Scorp a change of heart. Could he continue to see his father in such a horrible light if he was able to do something the healers could not? Perhaps he will see more in Harry and his father's friendship. I guess I'm just really hoping for reconciliation between Draco and Scorp.

I really do love this story. I was reading it on that other site, but I think I'll continue to read it here. I think it's a bit sad that Draco's biggest secret was that he was afraid. I cannot help but think that he's already changing so much since he's reconnected with Harry. I don't really think he's much of who he used to be. I do hope that Harry can manage to salvage the relationship between Scorp and Draco.
