here's the think i have 3grown boys and they all have their own personality but we also have tradition that they must respect but other than that they live their lives and common sense tells us to treat people how we would like to be treated when you kids become young man you have to adjust the rules house elfs are helper so you make them a part of your family and than treat them better and yes scrop needs a good spanking but draco has to learn you can have tradition and pride but to always be a parent all the things that happen to you as a child you learn how not to do that to your own child, and if you start sounding like your parents take a step back and listen because face it are parents never listen to us so we did what we wanted anyway

Yep, I see right now every time Harry's knee is mentioned I get flashbacks, bad
enough I have ankle problems to deal with...

Okay, I must admit this is a highly original problem that I've seen so far...house elf magic that affects
the fertility of pureblood families? Hunh..I like to see what solution you come up
    with.

was there a reason Scorp's pushing so hard? Is he trying to get himself disinherited?
As to teddy... Man UP already wolf boy and talk to your lady before you lose her for good! Fear is one thing but if it's shared at least Vic will know the problem isn't her.

winces... that'd make getting around not fun at all... and suddenly i feel like a wuss for whining over a couple of stairs down to the kitchen and needing crutches to make it to the loo...

anyway, story wise, what an interesting theory... and i bet odds, on, it's going to prove true, and draco is going to wiggle and thrash to prove that its not. Even though he has an different underlying goal from har's pure research, they'll work well together... eventually anyway.

does this mean the longbottoms haven't treated their elves well? I can't see nev treating anyone badly, though his grandmother might of. Or that the carry over from those that treated their elves badly is effecting ALL families that have them, to a degree, whether they're well treated or not.

shakes my head at draco, what a nog. though, i do admit scorp's taking it to the extremes.

sorry you know about the leg pain thing. mine's from the lower back and the hips and they have three modes, almost normal, no forward momentum (I can still go sideways for some reason, just not forward) and won't take my weight at all. (hence why i can review so much, i'm stuck in bed more often than not. >>) at any rate, I hope your knees are better. having legs that are unreliable and or painful sucks hairy goat balls. Har has my sympathy... and draco my amused and slightly bemused, mild contempt.

I actually feel bad for Draco for having a son who is testing him on purpose all the time. Rather like a toddler does when they learn the meaning of the word no and test whether it will actually work for them. I think Draco should ask Harry if he'd like to switch lol.

I'm sorry, but I would have smacked Scorpius across the dinner table & down
the hall for that lack of respect...and then dared him to say something to me back.

Who would have thought that Harry would have the better son....I guess Draco would.

    1. On Darwin, yes I can see how 'controversial' he would seem especially back in those
times when 83% of the people were adamant against change, 10% wanted change, but feared
for themselves and the 7% who did fight against the status quo were ridiculed, ostracizied...or
    killed.

    2. Okay, after trying to wrap my head around the magical theory you had the nerve to introduce in
this story :-), I've come to the conclusions it is either a magical malady or the simple solution
of how pureblood witches & wizards lived in the past. In other words, if one group of wizards choose
to create a controlled environment where the need for children no longer apply, then there will be a
noticable change in how wizards procreate as opposed to the wizards who live in an environment where
the need to survive depends on an increase of population.

That's where the rich & the poor come in...the rich had it all, servants, commodity, everything at their beck &
call, and as long as one heir was produced the bloodline could continue. Also, the need to keep the line 'pure', with relations
between close relatives, factors into the decrease of heirs produced.

As for the poor, because the percentage of them were higher than those who were rich, there were many different bloodlines to choose
from when it came to procreating, so the bloodlines weren't necessarily 'purer', it just resulted in the magic within the bloodlines
eventually over time becoming stronger. Plus, the fact middle class to poorer families had to fend for themselves more in order to provide
and maintain provisions in the environment they were in, which resulted in more childbirths.

...and with all that said, I'm done! By the way, all of those conclusions is just me trying to see it based on common sense than what
it was I 'learned' in school. So, what do you think, is there more to what I've said?

But, then again, you have a different theory in mind, when it comes to this story. ;-)

    3. Three steps and his knee locked up, the part in the middle that often felt liquid shifting and blending with the frozen joints
O_O ....okay, you're making me remember the time I hurt my knee when I was 12, damn thing gave me problems off & on for 7 years...I'm
cringing over here, girl. Too bad, this isn't a crossover story, Harry could benefit from Orihime, from the Bleach anime.
