I do so love it when that happens. I gives har and draco a chance to really show their stuff.
So, plans, on plans, on plans... with further plans to the side. Yeah, the ministry is going to be seriously regretting. Bet on that. It'll be interesting to find out who those gray robes were and how they fit in and also to see what har's come up with. You can bet it won't be boring.

Ha, I was away a while and came back to two yummy chapters of this. I love it. I think its one of my favourites from you. Though I just finished reading Their Phoenix which was epic also.

I like that Harry had a complete hidden home, and it was no surprise it was a tiny muggle flat hehe. :D I imagine Harry unconsciously does things like that because of his childhood making him think he doesnt deserve lots of good stuff.

Cant wait to find out what Hermione knows about the ash robes, or what Skeeter's story will do to the Ministry. Sounds like lotsa exciting stuff is coming up.

Well, I didn't want to make a running dialogue on the woes Draco
was feeling about staying in the temporary, rundown 'Looove Shack.'
    :-)

You know, for a second, I thought Draco was under a spell & were those
    hit wizards?

Me: Wow Draco, those are enormous superpowers of self-control you have. O_o
I thought for sure you would blow up about being in a rinky dinky place Harry brought
    you to.

    Draco: *thinking* Rinky Dinky??? O_O

Me: As a matter of fact, they should do a "DRACO MALFOY...THIS IS YOUR LIFE!!!''
& recap your days from Hogwarts to now! Because who would have thought you would
    come to this!

    Draco: !!!!! O_o

Me: Can you see it...(Draco: no...) reminiscing back when you were a youngster with
delusions ( Draco: Delusions!?!) of grandeur, walking high & mighty as the Prince of
Slytherin ( Draco: well I was rather important.), constantly getting beat by Harry in
Quidditch (Draco: Excuse you?!?), the fall into despair in your seventh year, the need to
assert yourself, the break from your family, the rise in the Auror Program, your partnership
with Harry, the twisted, falling for Harry, etc.. etc..etc.. etc..etc.. etc..etc.. etc..etc.. etc..etc.. etc..

    Draco: ALRIGHT! Enough already!

    Me: ......well...can I ask a question?

Draco: *sigh* Merlin forbid, don't let me stop you.

Me: After all you've been through, would you do it differently?

Draco: *pause* Sometimes I do think about doing some things differently.

    Harry: *pouts* Hey...

Draco: But if I did, I never would have met & known the real truth that is Harry Potter, so
    I wouldn't change a thing.

    Harry: *big grin*

Me: Awww...and that Draco Malfoy is your life?

Draco: To put it simply at this point and time, he is.
    ****************
I didn't mean to do a mini one shot.

A lot stupid i'd say. seriously, going on a witch hunt with the nutter still out there tearing ordinary ppl to bits. Not their brightest moment. and coming after two trained Aurors who hunt homicidal super powered crazies on a daily basis... oh yeah, that's smart. I don't think.
It doesn't surprise me that har would have a bolt hole, with his on again, off again, relationship with the ministry, he'd need some place that was just his. I'm glad draco has his back in this. They make an excellent team and draco seems to have har mostly over his death wish i ness.

that's sweet in a mildly twisted way. They might not be a normal couple but they make the abnormality work for them.
well, ick, still if i had the choice of having my rather ordinary story known or continuing to live i know which one i'd go with. >>
Oh, well, that bodes bad things. what ever has happened to Macgeorge can't be good.

just charming. it's bloody typical. Still, i'm not sure if it's wise to mess with draco or har. they're a potent combination. Still, they hurt that dude. so he'll be holed up for a while, healing up. Now that they know what he strikes at, maybe the ordinary can do something about that.

Squuueeeeee, what an ending. Wonder what Draco will do.

Good writing as usual. Love this chapter, pity that our Smoke and Mirrors got away though hehe.

    1. And the problem with chasing Blue Eyes is that he can leap
    from body to body

    -damn, he's a freakin' parasite! Hmm..OH! That's it! I just had an
idea! Something Harry would do, it's drastic, it's suicidal...hell
it would fit in the story. What if Harry lured Ole Blue Eyes into his
body, but inside of HArry, he took some type of potion combined with a spell
that was lethal enough to act like a poison, sooo...the effect would be a
dying body, but Blue Eyes can't leap out & his essence just dies out.

Just an idea that popped up. :-)

    2. You know that fight would definitely would have been worth seeing on TV. :-)

    3. Harry rolled his eyes.

Haha no worries, I liked the entire series, and most everything you write lol.

Love this chapter, the parallels and differences in the guy's other auror partners were a nice touch, and Harry having almost telepathy with Draco while fighting is awesome.

Can't wait to see what will happen to McGeorge, poor woman. Maybe she's turned herself into a zombie :D

    thanks for the chapter ^_^

You know, you had me fooled it seemed like a typical stakeout, with the
feel of two men just basically 'camping out' under the stars, when THAT
    happens towards the end!

...and THEN you have the nerve to end it where you did! I really hope you're
    happy with yourself! *hmph*

...and I can't wait for them to catch that damned blue eyes and just forget
protocol & beat the snot out of him. As a matter of fact, at this point as a reader
I have to say when they 'unexpectedly' come across Ole Blue Eyes in the future, I think
a long chase is in order...first before the beatdown.

    Whatcha' think?

I don't have much to say chapter for chapter about this one, but I am loving it as one of your top stories so far, though I am looking forward to loving everything you write (I dont read everything cos some doesnt interest me) but youre awesome.

Loving this series (Think I read from start to here in less than a week around my job) hehe. Just wanna say thanks for the entertainment.

I'm thinking that auror feels more for her partner than she's willing to let on.

I hope Mcgeorge isn't snagged by blue eyes, though she likely is.

Well, that's an interesting plan. they don't often try and bait their twisted prey. also, ill be interested to see how Ginny's flowers tie in, if they do.

hmmmm, maybe har should turn malfoy baiting into an art. He does it so well, but then the Malfoys sr are sooooo very baitable.

I'm guessing the mirror was linked to 'cissa's necklace? man, they have paranoia down to art huh. So, who gets the manor and all the fripperies now that draco has been booted?

Now that was a creative scene with the Malfoys, who I'm sure want to
knock Harry back to infancy stage with that little stunt! :-)

You know, I was thinking how ironic it would be if Ole Blue Eyes identity
is obvious. By the way, did Draco hear what was said outside?
