oh i can just see the tantrum draco's going to wind up having when harry tells him what ron said and he agreed to (even though draco's pretty much told him to do the exact same thing and had harry fight him about it) *evil laugh*. good to see cissa coming to, now maybe the boys can get some rest on that front at least. another wonderful chapter, keep up the good work :D

I can never decide if I love or hate this series. It's infuriating, which probably means that you're effectively making me feel what each of them is feeling. I find Draco way more infuriating than Harry, with his selfish thoughts like:

Well, that and that Harry not shut himself away from Draco and just give him what he wanted all the time. Draco wanted his willing surrender, wanted Harry
to agree with him that, yes, it was for the best that he give up the Auror job, and stay inside the Manor more often, and find something else he wanted to
    do.

He's also a hypocrite, arguing with Harry that it shouldn't matter to Harry what people think of him, when one of Draco's big reasons for being angry is that Harry disagreed with him in public, and the interactions in the pure blood spheres are all about appearances. Even when he's right, he's still coming at it from a self-absorbed space. Draco's shown minute amounts of insight, but I'm still waiting for him to be someone Harry should feel anything other than duty towards.

just started on this and, as with all your fics, i'm loving it. the dynamic between harry and draco, constantly fluctuating, the ups and downs as they try to work -with- each other and learn not to just assume things is so wonderfully done and you just want to strangle both of them for being so stubborn lol. keep up the wonderful work, i can't wait for more :)

har's still not adjusted to the manor being home... he's still very much in the mindset that it's draco's home and he's not fully a part of it. Ossey just helped with that a bit. at the moment what is draco's is his, so if he wants to vent, he can. Hope he remembers that in the future.
draco does have a bit of a point though. despite what he thinks and wants, har never was and never will be ordinary. I think once he admits that and learns to roll with it, he'll be a lot happier.

A very revealing chapter I think. It might be that they will now understand where each of them are & what or why they are feeling that way. I certainly enjoyed a look into their minds anyway. Bless that house elf..he really saved the day. By his action they started what I hope will be a continuing conversation. Maybe they can "blend" yet.

    about #24..

Weeeell, I understand Draco's pov, BUT I understand Harry's more.
Trying to keep Harry home is like trying to keep a wild lion in a
gilded cage....with glass bars. The only thing that will happen
is the lion will angrily pace, until it realizes that it can break
    free.

Besides is there something else Harry can do in the Ministry?

Oh, and thank goodness for the unusual elf that is Ossy.

Harry swallowed a few times...and reached out for Draco's head.
that is VERY misleading, for a second I thought Harry was going to put him
    in a headlock. :-)

Too bad Harry can't ask for a 5 year leave of absence. He must have a lot of comp time saved up to have had the time off he has already.

Blaise isn't much of a friend since he doesn't see anything wrong with withholding information that could effect Draco's safety. Not much of a friend at all.

well damn, one brush fire settled and a stronger one roars to life a few paces ahead. Still, i think his assesment of Blaise was pretty accurate. He is essentially a selfish/ self serving person.
har did the best he could considering they sprung that on him and he and draco have had no real chance to discuss his job.
still, when they get home, i think draco's going to unleash a frozen firestorm on him.

That seemed like a really short chapter, or I read it really fast lol.

Love that Hrry actually managed to keep his job (so far anyways) and cant wait to see the blow up Draco is going to have. (He only does it cos he loves Harry really hehehe)

Looking forward to the next one, and wonder what Blaises warning will bring.

Oh yeah Harry & Draco are going to have world war over this! People will be hurt, bridges burned and the demi-marriage fractured before the armistice. Yes armistice because I don't think either will actually win this war.
I just hope neither is too hasty and Blaise gets his foot in the door much less any other part of his body...don't trust that man..too smart, too good looking, too slytherin. I don't think Harry & Draco understand each other very deeply hopefully their love IS deep enough to not want them to leave each other for even a little bit nor want to hurt each other as retaliation at all.

Oh! Poor Harry. I cant believe he isnt allowed into his box.

But I suppose he is right, he went this long without it.... I bet he wants to just cry!

Hope the publishing of their marriage does some goos for them. See ya next chapter.
