I guess magical healers have never heard of the hippocratic oath.

Maybe I missed something or I'm just thick but I have no idea who Draco's enemy or enemies are! I'm surprised that Harry's asking even after marrying Draco didn't get him preferencial treatment. Draco now thinks that Harry is just another "regular" wizard? Nooo I want him to be a powerful ipsy pipsy whopeedo wizard! Pretty please just let him be so strong that he doesn't need any of the stuff that Draco expected...he can do it all naturally.

Trust Harry to resort to desperate measures eh? That healer had quite a pair on her to stand up to Harry before he pulled out his trump card and gave her an ultimatum. The world is not a forgiving place and I suspect that things wont get any easier for anyone with the name Malfoy and it's a pity but you truly do reap what you sow. I love how you brought up the fact that the biggest of Harry's accomplishments either relied on a fuck load of luck or aid from other people. Other stories tend to gloss over this fact and make Harry some sort of pseudo god with a wand when in canon if he had not had a part of Voldemort's soul in him to take the brunt of the killing curse or had the elder wand been truly Voldemort's he would have been curb stomped 10 times over and been dust in the wind. And since I am on the subject....was it ever fully explained as to why Voldy beyond simple pride didn't just send someone to end Harry at his house, I mean Snape was a teacher.....Vold could have just said

"Snape, tell me that little shit's address, i am soooooo done with this "screw up Lord Voldemort's plans every year" crap.

hell he could have gotten the damn location from back when he was a total buzz kill on the back of professor quirrell's head, I mean they never fully explained the mechanics behind this supposed magic protecting the location with some family love/blood bullshit when quite a few people know where it is. Sorry for going off topic a bit there, but halfway through my initial review the thought just stuck with me.......I mean it would have been so freaking simple. He could have just imperio'd either Ron or Hermione to slay his ass.....they knew the location and weren't stopped by plot-magic. Awesome chapter btw.

reckless har... very reckless, still, it worked though. I wouldn't have thought healers would get to pick and choose. oh, the press would love that little tid bit. As a malfoy har needs to learn how to work them too.
it was a good plan har came up with. he's better at spur of the moment planning.

Damn, Draco gets stabbed in the back, literally. Sucks to
be him at the moment. But, the husband came thru for him at
a time that proved there's more to Harry than impulsive action
and yes, I'm disregarding 'Impulsive Action 101' he just did with
    those Healers. :-)

But, Draco needs a reality check, if he thinks Harry isn't powerful. :-/

If that demi-marriage ritual should be good for something, it
should be letting a spouse know when their other half is in danger
ad where does Blaise get off flirting with Draco??? Tho' it does add
another dynamic to the marriage, if you go that route.

As for the statement of Harry not having strong magic, hasn't it
occured to him that MAYBE Harry has a tight lid on it? Who knows maybe
it comes out during Harry's strongest emotion and ''it will pulse out
of him like a heartbeat, with waves fluctuating out for all to feel.''

love the pacing of this story, easy to follow and doesn't feel rushed. The interaction between Harry and Draco have really started to grow on me and it sucks that people are treating Harry different because he is a Malfoy now.Granted the Malfoy family has racked up a fuck-ton of bad karma for their deeds and previous allegiances, it's just sad that Harry is getting crap now for just bearing their name. I am also quite interested in seeing just how Draco is going to stop Harry from being an Auror lol.

Stabbed? In the back? In that crowd I wonder if anyone would tell Harry that Draco is down?

Well, wonders do happen they reached *shock! an understanding! :P
It seems draco has a lot of preconceived notions he needs to let go to get a long with har. that har was suicidal for one. Har can't fulfill the duty he promised if he's dead, now can he. He's definitely more of an action man and i think on the fly type than a planner.
I wonder how the ministry thing is going to go. The glamour is a good plan for one meeting. i look forward to seeing how they manage the rest though.

how in all that's holy could draco think har doesn't know duty?! well perhaps not the way he sees it but does har ever know duty. I'm glad draco is there to stop har leaping in head long. just cause help is needed doesn't mean a person has to sacrifice there all to achieve it. I think draco can help har balance out his overly self sacrificing tendencies with a bit of good old fashioned slyth survival instinct.
just out of curiosity, is it har or the ministry caring for teddy and andy?
