ooooh, or not. still, a bit hair trigger there har. still, at least that lot won't mess with them again in a hurry.
glad draco is there to pull har back from his potential killy killy spree, and that mio was able to sort of shock him out of it. guess a history of being the brains really helps. :P

    bum bump buuuuuuuuuuuuuum!
well, riders hint at sentience... and sentience mean that hopefully they can talk and maybe get some answers... if the riders don't try to kill them first. >> working in ignorance is never fun.

...and I'm with Draco on that one, it does seem like Harry debates on Draco's
wisdom, but OH...let Hermione say something and it's automatically the voice
    of messianic proportions.

So, those creatures, are they like a cross between a hippogriff & ram?

You know, I'm not sure if you realize it but you're really at the cusp of creating
your own world here, which needs names for places so it will be easier to explain to
people back at the camp. For example, they just came from flying over Oval Valley.
How's that for a name, since eventually a map will have to be made.

Oh, and for the record, this is really good, like a fantasy book. :-)

That's a handy gift! A map to wild magic, that's wonderful. I can't wait to read more.

that's pretty ironic. mio the bookworm, living wild magic detector. ^^
hmmm, maybe ron will be like an anti wild magic person. someone it can't develop in or something, so he won't be quite as effected by calls and other such foibles associated with it. or not, i look forward to seeing how it works.

    1. Big question...in this part of the story, what is the main focus/theme?
Despite the fact there is a mystery in the horizon. I have an idea, but I want
to see what you have in mind.

    2. Will Draco & Harry come clean in 'words' (spoken out loud) how they truly feel
for the other? Because right now, it seems like they are going thru the motions,
but the actual words have yet to be said.

Very interesting and erie! Whatever this force is, it gives me the willies. The fact that it wants Draco to bring Harry, but that Harry did not hear anything about Draco.... is the force just using Draco to get to Harry? Or could the messages be coming from two seperate sources?! I am waiting with bated breath for the next chapter!

now that's just plain worrying. two, three different calls, but from whom and why. especially if they have the power to direct the birds and the storms... and block each other from a bonded's mind. At least neither was senseless enough to have attempted to answer it.

Very cool! I didn't even think of that. I wonder if this is a natural storm or if they are about to meet their newest enemy... or friend. What I love about this is that you never know what's comming... the joy and mystery of a completely new world :) can't wait for more.

heh, figured as much. still, oooh, a map. made by whom and for what purpose.
that last line was full of foreboding. I hope the ppl back at base camp are able to baton down the hatches in time. har has his own winds but will they be enough to counter things. working in tandom with draco they might be if they can find a good place to anchor things. i look forward to seeing if/when ron and mio start manifesting.

    1. I was expecting much longer breaks between the chapters, to show them
    living years on Hurricane..

Well the only way to 'show' that is to give us the 'feeling' it has been
years by simply saying the typical 'months passed and still...etc etc', you
know what I mean? Like you did in this chapter...

    2. ...and I simply loved the bow that's all, it was completely aristocratic.
    Perfect for a pureblood.

    3. You know, when I think about it, this story almost has a Edgar Rice Burrough, without
the dinosaurs and with a little "Mysterious Island'' mixed in...very intriguing. How many times
    have I said that?

ANyway, keep up the good work.

this just gets more and more interesting. so hurricane may have had previous inhabitants... where'd they go and why? What does this have to do with whatever force is stirring things up from the north. if they could fly, why were they content to sent in a small village? They certainly left behind a dangerous thing or three. i look forward to finding out the answers to these Q's in later chappies.
well, at least draco is aware of that particular emotional quirk so he can keep an eye on it.

I love it! I was sad it was shorter, but really it just means I was left drooling for more so, no complaints! I am very intrigued by their findings so far, is the silver thing a void of some sort? I wonder if it breaks up the actual molecules or if it's more like a vanishing spell? I suppose either way whatever is absorbed becomes a part of the oval? So when you said that we may meet more hurricane humans later on... could they come from hurricane?! The drawings, especially the map Draco was evaluating were mega creepy! There's some pretty deep magic going on there if you don't mind me assuming. :) So excited for next chapter!

    1. Well, which way were you expecting to go? Because the story thus
far continues in the same vein from the last story, without losing its continuity, unless
you were hoping to 'up the ante'? So far, it's intriguing...

    2. For Draco, to be 'gleeful' makes me think you watch a certain TV show. :-)

    3. Did you make that bow up or was it inspired?
