That was some fight! It was GREAT!! And, I want you to know, that I *really* liked this line from Draco, "When I said I'd catch you when ou fall I didn't mean it literally. In every figurative sense there is, I *will* be there for you." Sigh! And I, too, wondered why Harry didn't step in! I can see the other guys being unsure of which friend to side with, but Harry? He's her best friend--supposedly! I'm very glad he realized the same thing--and as soon as he did.
But Draco's whole speech about defending women and who he liked and his relationships and all of that? FAB.U.LOUS.
Please come back with more soon!
And when are we getting to the chapter that you've quoted at the beginning of every chapter thus far, anyway?
    Cheers,
EEvans (who used to post under a different name...just so you know I've left you fb before)

    I love this story, why?
1.It's so funny, i love how Hermione and Draco argues, I have fun reading about them arguing that i actually understand how much they enjoy arguing with each other, it's all full of fun. You did a great job making the arguments
2.It's very realistic, the timeline is realistic, the way they argue is realistic, the conversations between friends are realistic, the characters are alive. I really lke how you paced the story.
3.The descriptions of the setting are just right, like what the secondary characters are doing, they are long enough for me to picture it happening but short enough not to bore me

I'm sure there are plenty more reasons, but those are at the top of my head. Thank you for writing this story and please keep writing, i really want to know what comes nexr. I've never written a review before but this story is so good, i just had to.

I'd completely forgotten you were aiming for 100 chapters!! *gawks at screen* You are going to kill us!!
In other news, that was a good chapter and the magic carpet ride was endearing! I know have "A Whole New World" in my head and will likely have dreams of it. Thanks for that. :P Further, I like the idea of a choclate bouquet. Where may I order mine?
Is it in the books that Theo and Tracey date? Is Tracey even a "real" character? I've seen her name in other fic and she's always dating Theo. Interesting. (I read the books ages ago; sorry I can't recall that detail.)
I enjoyed the conversation about Draco's name and whether he will "live up to it." I think you can play around with that one for a while and it'll still be good.
I think her dormmates will suspect she has a secret beau soon. Or atleast a crush. I was slightly surprised that Draco admitted he was keeping a secret. That might not bode well for a secret romance.
Thanks for posting and good luck with the laptop/bed ordeal. From experience I can say---yeah, that's no fun at all. Meh. May I suggest a book under the laptop and then the book upon a pillow and many pillows behind your back? It helps, somewhat. For a while.
    Good night all!

Wonderful, fantastic chapter! Absolutely loved it.

For the record, Disney's "Aladdin" came out in November of Hermione's second year (1992) but would have been available on VHS before 1994 when "The Return of Jafar" was released. Of course she probably missed seeing it in theaters, not having gone home for the hols second year because they were brewing the polyjuice potion and it certainly wasn't still showing by summer.
oh gosh... I was a sophomore in High School when they were in their second year. I've known I was almost a year older than the Weasley twins but I just didn't visualize the rest...

Love how Draco's being romantic without really thinking he's being romantic. ^_^ Too cute. He really, really wants that quill for Hermione, doesn't he?

100 chapters? of this quality? :squee: I can wait for the full get-together! Although they're kind of together now, aren't they? Kind of. :laughs: Such an amusing "friendship."

    Thanks so much for writing!

YAY! An update, I'm so excited! I love this story so far!

Draco and Hermione's relationship is amazing, and even believable, which is hard to pull off.

I can't wait to see where this goes, how Dragon's will play into everything and just what new evil lurks! I do wonder if Draco has a creature inheritance and maybe Hermione is his mate, or maybe they are soul-mates and their are, literally, made for each other. I can't wait to see how everyone reacts to them as a couple, especially the boys and Draco's parents. I do hope Ron doesn't make too big of an ass of himself, I think Harry is mature enough to accept them as long as he knows Draco is treating Hermione well. Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy are a different hurdle all-together. You haven't really given us a run down of how they are coping with the end of the war and if they are still holding on to their old prejudice beliefs.

I also love that you are taking your time, it bothers me when characters have two meetings and then are suddenly in love, especially two characters that use to be rivals like Draco and Hermione. So, do take your time and let them naturally come into their relationship.

I cannot wait for the next chapter!

I saw your more about ideas in this chapter and i would like to see if there is a way you could tie in hermione getting pregnant? that is if you intend for there to be adult content :).
