I think you did a fantastic job - united, collected bits and pieces of Severus's personality scattered over the HP universe... I enjoyed every word even though I'm not the biggest HP's or Snape's fan, nor a softie. Very touching if only a bit over-melodramatic.
"He had been a sad child, a shadow, a little mess of limbs and bones and hair and nose, just breathing, surviving, filling the void with knowledge " - yep, that pretty sums it up.
