I make it a habit, whenever I get frustrated because there are no new stories or updates that interest me, to go back to my favorite authors and re-read favorite stories. You and this oneshot qualify on both counts. Your writing is always excellent even when the storyline doesn't grab me, which is definitely not the case here. I love the slow (but not too slow) build-up of their relationship without any stupid misunderstandings or self-loathing attitudes (all that angst can get tiring after a while), just a steady deepening of their feelings toward one another. I also like that they're equals - both have matured since their Hogwarts days. An excellent story.

wow that was both intense and amazing. I liked how it spanned the interactions between Harry and Draco over the life debts. The focus was right on the two of them and the way they developed feeling for each other was both subtle and obvious. Really well done.

awwwwwwww! as always, wonderful wonderful work. i love the back and forth, the gradual build-up over death-defying issues, personal issues, stupid mistakes and everything in between. it was so perfectly done watching how they just kind of fell into each other. great work :D

I'm an avid fan of your stories. I get excited when I see you've updated or added a new one. You do such a wonderful job of bringing Harry and Draco to life inside my head. They're so perfectly flawed and I love how you weave your stories around them. You are a fantastic writer and I probably should have told you before now, as I've been following you on this site and on ff.net for awhile. But better late than never, huh? Here's what I like the most about your writing, you don't just tell a story about Harry and Draco, you weave a whole tapestry around them, full of vivid colors and sharp detail. There are no holes and you just know going in that when the story is done, you'll miss it. Like crawling out of a warm blanket into a cold room. Thank you for sharing your gift with me.

Well that was interesting. It felt like you were getting a
glimpse of the daily lives of Harry & Draco, more than seeing
whether or not their debts were settled.

You know, I truly was expecting a beatdown on Blaise by Harry.

    this was nice.

bonds deeper the life debts formed. a very neat story about two people who let circumstances lead them together and enjoyed the ride in transit. I don't see har staying a potion maker for good, he's to active, but in the meantime it's a good distraction. maybe he'll become a dueling coach or private dada teacher after but for right now, i think his life is pretty good.

Enjoyed it. Would have liked to have it continue & get into what Harry does now that they fired him as an auror. I want to see him "get even" & I'm not sure Harry would stay in potions. Maybe...he seems to be able to be good at whatever he wants when he concentrates.
