I know in my previous review a few chapters back, I mentioned that I love how you were doing a slow build up of Draco/Hermione. Am I allowed to take that back?
You don't do exceedingly long chapters and yet you're able to get so much character progression as well as plot progression into each of them. This story is just so brilliantly written. I adore it more than a mere review can express. Because you've written this so beautifully, I'm already dying to have some Draco/Hermione action. Even if Hermione freaks out about it and "takes it all back", I need something to desperately happen within the next chapter or two. My nerves are becoming absolutely frayed as I sit impatiently at the proverbial edge of my seat. Please! I beg of you! Allow something to happen. Especially after this chapter. You can't have built that up so wonderfully, allowing us to form fantastic salacious sexy thoughts of what was to come next only to hurt us by not having those salacious sexy thoughts unfold before us in the next chapter. You can't be that cruel. Can you?

I am so enthralled with this story however that I am at your mercy. You may twist and turn me into knots with these characters; disappoint and elate me, confuse me and devastate me; and I would come back, begging to read more.

Your willing literary follower. Lover of the climactic and anti-climactive spell you weave so beautifully,

    dM

Bravo for the fast update, this was another feelgood chapter. Loved the eureka moment Hermione and Draco had about Teodora and the blood magic connection. Now I have to go back and skim a few of the chapters to see if you have dropped anymore hints and clues about possible future revelations lol. Everything you have written in this story serves a purpose and ya floored me with that reveal.

I love the pace your going at with Hermione and Draco. Most(i.e all) other DracoxHermione fics usually have them shacking up and doing the horizontal monster mash after only a few chapters and some sweet words exchanged with either no character development or perhaps instead character assassination. Here you keep them in character while giving them the necessary development one would expect to see in the post war setting.Cause lets be honest, in real life Draco would have to become a much better person than he was in canon for Hermione to give him the time of day, and not just fall for him for his looks( now i ain't gonna lie....i would climb upon him like a spider monkey does a tree if i was in her place.....ahem I mean..no homo) like A LOT of stories have. I also like how instead of having Hermione gushing and preening about how Draco MIGHT like-like her, you have her being understandably freaked the fuck out. Here is a guy who for the longest time has been "that douche at every school ever", the guy who was the first person to call her a mudblood, and now suddenly everyone thinks he has the hots for her and she just for the life of her, cannot understand why or even how to start dealing with it.

Also......did he just give her an orgasm......through touching hands/magic.... cause if so

-Gives Draco the highest of fives-

Also if so, that scene was very tastefully done.

    Merry Christmas you magnificent bitch.

    -Returns to slumber.......and waits-

I really didn't expect that you would keep isobel alive. I like how you are adding so many different angles to the story. How can hermione ever get together with Draco if her best friend has feelings for him!? I'm sure you'll help us get there ;) I can't wait for the moment when Hermione and Draco finally realize/reveal their feelings for each other. I'm working on my first story now and I'm quite intimidated by your creativity. It would be nice to pick your brain and learn more about how you come up with all these clever ideas. Im wondering if you have read the mortal instruments series? as the clary/jace relationship has a similiar dynamic and your writing style is similar to that author. If you are up for a challenge all of the fics written about that series arent of your caliber. And I am just amazed by authors that are so incredibly adept at building upon existing myths and building upon them to create modern fairy tales that in my opinion are just as good as the classics

Ok, officially obsessed with this story. Well, that's not the complete truth. I was obsessed with it by around chapter 3 or 4, but I think it's been brought to another level. I have rarely read fanfic dealing with PTSD in any fashion, let alone a realistic way. Most of those stories go very dark and use BDSM has the "cure all" for it. So, now that I've mentioned what this story isn't, let's talk about what it is. So very very good. The writing is stellar, the story is engaging and well thought-out, the characters are believable in and of themselves, and within the Potterverse. My only complaint would be that Luna (always a favorite of mine) is a bit underutilized. However, I officially love Isobel. And some writers use Luna and her abilities as convienient plot device, so I can see why you would avoid making her more of a central character. I cannot wait to see how Draco and Hermione's relationship progresses. At first I was torn between how you would deal with the PTSD AND the Bastet plot lines, but you've dealt with it beautifully. I'm in awe and cannot wait for the next chapter, and the one after that, and the one after that. This is one of those stories where I will not want it to end. Looking forward to the story continuing!

OMG this is definitely one of the best DM/HG stories I've ever read. I've been on the tips of this story ever since you posted and dying when a day goes by that another chapter isn't up (I know it's dramatic). But that's a little bit how I feel. I can't wait for the next chapter.

I'm so glad you didn't have to kill anyone! That's simply awesome. I'm glad they talked, Hermione and Isobel. I doubt Hermione will say anything to Draco though...she is so stubborn.

There is still a fear in the back of my head that Harry is going to come back one day and really try to hurt her and she will be broken again. Of course that could lead to boots knocking with Draco so...I don't know...It wouldn't be so bad...I'm just scared of the place Harry is in right now.

Can't wait for the Christmas chapter! So glad you're awesome.

Once again, great job. It's really progressing nicely. I'll be sure to keep a look out on the Narsissa front but for now I can't wait to see how Hermione handles all of this information at once after it fully sinks in. I have to admit I fully related to Hermione when she was praying to take on everyone elses pain so they could feel normal (I delt with some extreme medical situations) it seems to be the simple solution at the time rather than working through the muck of feelings and thoughts but it is extremely important to work through. I hope you show us what Draco said and more of his emotions, the glimpses are great and have so much potential! Happy Holidays

Oh my god. So many emotions. I'm so excited and distraught and happy all at the same time. This chapter could not possibly have gone better. And another one tomorrow as a Christmas present? You are my new best friend.

    Oh. My. Wow.

I'll try to write a decent review when I can actually think.
