Still reading still surprised at how Draco is jumping to conclusion that Daddy is dead. And twisting & turning rather than trying to talk to Harry and see what his plans might be for getting rid of the lordship bond.

hm... Harry's going to have problems with Draco until he can get Lucius to tell him that he was given a choice and maybe knock some sense into Draco.

I am so liking Snape and Pansy in this. I like how they seem to be the most clear-headed in the bond and how they are working to get the most out of it within the restrictions they have. For a Slytherin Draco is pretty emotional and it's cool how Pansy has notices things and can help Severus. And I liked how Harry could tell what Blaise is thinking lol. Serves him right. Harry should make it where Blaise is not able to leave the house even if he wanted to. And maybe Lucius can set Draco straight later about where his loyalties need to lie. I imagine Lucius would be furious if Harry DIDN'T do everything he could to rescue Draco because he would put Draco first too. And that is one SNEAKY ghost!

Goodness... so much to comment on. But I really loved this chapter :)

Loved it, nice developments with Harry finding a suitable place to hole up for.

    Draco recoiled.

Poor Harry...nothing is ever easy for him. Draco is being totally unreasonable! Never thought I'd say yea for Pansy.

Maybe this should be a Harry/pansy Fic. They seem to be getting along better than Harry and Draco.

    about #18...

I just want to say as time goes on, I really don't like Blaise.
he has proved nothing that suggests he is worth keeping around.

    Ch. 18

A bumpy road indeed- for all of them, it seems, although Harry as usual appears to be bearing the brunt of it. A good chapter!

oh no... here we go... Draco is going to be antagonistic towards Harry and Blaise is such a snake in the grass. Blaise might get himself killed because of the bond yet... and I won't feel bad about that!

Although I understand that The Lord is responsible for the vassals and probably their needs (and desires, I assume, especially when you have Slytherins as vassals), I still think it is a little unfair for them to expect Harry to be up to whatever standards they have for a lord... Harry is adjusting to the bond too! Draco becomes unreasonable when it comes to his parents, but I find it disturbing that he seems to be expecting Harry to sacrifice himself and his friends and whomever, whatever else dear to him for the sake of his vassals and their family... But well, I'm naturally biased towards Harry so maybe I'm just thinking too much :p

I have to agree with Snape that lying by omission is essential for the moment, although complete honesty would be good for improving relationships, I doubt it's the same case for Slytherins, due to their sometimes-inconvenient-and-extremely-unnecessary pure-blood pride and honour (and values perhaps). Pansy could be able to understand where Harry is coming from, but Draco, Blaise and Goyle won't think the same, I guess. But honesty is still a great virtue, Harry, you are a great Gryffindor (with some Slytherin qualities)!

At least Snape won't think about breaking at this moment when his Slytherins still need him and that Harry needs someone to advise him. Blaise... *sighs* can't he just be rational and think what's best for the time being? Seriously, the bond is already unsteady enough without him trying to break it, or worse, trying to challenge and eliminate their Lord. I hope he regrets in the future when he settles within the bond and make up for it, wait, or is he going to be out of the bond in the future? And Draco... Oh well, I'll just hope that Pansy and Snape can talk some sense into him, it doesn't matter whether he likes the bond's protection or not, as long as he doesn't conspire with Blaise against Harry, I'm fine with it. Wait a minute, it's supposed to be a Draco/Harry fic, so I probably have more hoe in him seeing sense than Blaise? Great!

I look forward to your next update!

Poor Harry! Never anybody to love or understand him!! Maybe he should just dump them all and leave. Find some peace and caring some where else.

A new chapter! :D I'm a little worried what the Blood Ghost will do now, since he didn't say anything more to Harry this time round... Poor Lucius, I hope you'll be safe.

It's apparent that they seem to be feeling a change in emotions since the accidental creation of the bond, some of them are adapting better than the others. While Harry still tries to identify and distinguish his own emotions and what the bond trues to compel him to feel, he is still carrying out the duties of the Lord rather well, and still being controlled and reasoned enough to restrain himself from killing the kidnappers - but when he was working with the shield mark on his hand to get to his vassals and in combat, Ouch, that really seems to hurt (at least beyond comfort)... From the part written from Snape's perspective, is he trying to figure a way out to break the bond? It looks as if he's going to try to do that once he's had the time to settle down and work through his mind. But so far he's the most logical and helpful vassal that Harry can rely on for bigger decisions and more dangerous situations...

I guess Draco and Pansy is getting along with the Lordship bond quite fine, enjoying the presence of someone to protect and help them, especially with the prejudice against them as Slytherins. Goyle would probably appreciate the bond too, if he can be convinced that Harry is there to help them and protect them, having the shared experience of Fiendfyre. But Blaise... He seems to be trying to ignore Harry and the Lordship bond to his best efforts even as Harry appeared to help them...

I guess the route to adjusting to the Lordship bond can't be smooth at all then, especially with the Ministry and the Blood Ghost interfering with their already struggling adaptation to the Lordship bond. Look forward to the conflicts to arise soon and the resolves (and the struggles to, of course).

Yeah!!! Lots of Severus doing his thing :)I totally liked it when Harry surprised the kidnappers by saying 'hi' lol. And Pansy is actually interesting... she is usually such a flat character but she isn't here. And though Harry is the central figure in their group, it seems like Draco is going to be the one that connects with them all personally. Severus is his godfather, Pansy and Goyle were his followers in their little group, Blaise his friend, and Harry his rival. He connects to all of them and I think we will see the changes in the group the best when we see his interactions with each of the others. Also a lot of change with Harry and Severus as Severus takes on his role in the group. Love this!
