That was a VERY good chapter. Some stuff at least sort of settled...Blaise out (that was stupid of him & his mom is like poisonus to him & he doesn't even understand that/Draco may finally understand Potter & settle down & I hope be a boyfriend soon/Snape? Needs to believe in Harry more)There glad I got that out of my system.

Harry should just release Draco from the bond regardless of what Draco wants. He has the power. What lord keeps an annoying vassal?

Oh please....puhleeeze say Harry sees the vial in the next chapter and puts together two + two!
I know folks like to write Harry was hopeless in Potions, but come ON...I'm sure he's smart
    enough to have learned something.

Great chapter! Lots going on. Too bad about Blaise. He's going to be sorry I think. Harry & Severus have so much in common & Harry always seems older because he's never been allowed to be a child. I'll have to go back to see if their will be a pairing in this I hope so & right now I hope it is Severus. I like a bit older/more experienced with younger...quirky? Maybe but it's my fantasy for them.

Draco's eyes came back to him. "Why? He hasn't done a thing that you didn't do. I know you used the Unforgivables--"

Oh Bull......SHIT Draco, apples and oranges, 2 totally different circumstances. The very few times Harry used an unforgivable which was during a war time situation was either in defense of someone or himself. He didn't go out and about and harm good innocent people. He isn't a raging bigot who lied, schemed and threatened his way into power regardless of who it hurt and he certainly does not condone genocide of people who don't happen to be "pure".

    And this

"Tried to feed a teenage girl's soul to an evil diary," Harry snapped. "Broke out of Azkaban. Took the Dark Mark. Tortured Muggles--"

"So it makes a difference that the people you tortured are wizards?" Draco snapped back, but his cheeks were pale.

Now he is just grasping at straws. The difference is Harry didn't "torture" anybody.Torture would imply a prolonged exposure to a particular suffering, what he did amounted to a love tap. He used Crucio at most three times and the first was against freaking bellatrix after she had just murdered his uncle and even then he couldn't perform it right, the 2nd was against snape who he had just witnessed killing Albus, and the 3rd was against Amycus who was threatening Minerva. The Imperius was only used under extreme duress and he never used it to even harm his enemies and only used it like twice. And he owned up to the ministry that he DID use unforgivable's unlike Lucius who denied doing them of his own will. Unlike Lucius Harry didn't spend DECADES harming people with these curses and he certainly never murdered innocent people.........hell he has never killed anybody except for Voldemort and that was just due to a rebound killing curse. Harry and Lucius are nothing alike.

Draco's feelings are understandable..........no son want's too see his father get put away even if the reasons WHY are laid out plainly for him to see. No matter how much of an absolute shit his father is, Draco still loves him but he needs to just give in and count his blessings that he is not facing what Lucius is facing when he very well could be without Harry's protection. The fact that people aren't trying to execute Lucius all vigilante style and that he is being given a fair trial in the first place, when he really does not deserve one should be seen as a god send to Draco but he still has issues with entitlement and is too use to getting his way. It's kind of ironic that after years of manipulating the system to his own ends and impeding justice for others that Lucius now finds himself on the receiving end of the same system. Hagrid must be doing a little dance in his hut.

ahem now on to other things.

Glad to see Blaise freed from the bond. It may be tougher to face the trials now but at least he will be standing on his own feet instead of relying on Harry and hopefully this will give him the strength to resist his mother. He wanted freedom now and he got it, now only time will tell if he can keep that freedom.

Lol'ed at Hermione and Ron floating about in the background of this chapter and making sure no one screws with their boy. It's funny and heartwarming.

Draco's plan really backfired on him since now after this stunt and now that Harry knows how to release someone from the bond, he has placed himself in jeopardy. Harry will be none too pleased when he finds out just what Draco intended to do. Hopefully Harry won't be too mad at Kreacher for his part in things.

-waits patiently for the next chapter-

Wonderful story --- looking forward to future updates.

Was wondering how you were going to take this to the next level -- now we know --- or at least suspect ---

    keep writing as life allows....

A lot accomplished in that chapter. I hope Severus stays with Potter and Gregg even if he is set free. I know Lucius is a through & through stinker but I'd still rather he was in Azkaban for number of years than killed.

......For fucks sake Draco. I swear it is 2 steps forward, 25 steps back with this kid lol. His inability to accept that yes, his father is and was a bad man and needs to pay for his crimes and that he simply can't have everything the way he wants is astounding. The bond will perhaps make Harry do the things Draco says he will do but if/when the rest of the trio, hell the rest of the people in that house discover what he has done or is going to do, he is going to get lit up like a god damned christmas tree. And Narcissa and Lucius show once again what "stellar" parents they are by not only going along with their son's plan if it means they can avoid punishment but actively aiding him in his endeavor. It will be quite awkward if at their trials after they are given Veritaserum and spill the beans on what they did now. THAT will lose them whatever sympathy points they gain from Draco's seemingly new found infatuation with the savior.

Also this popped into my head after reading your other story "Wedding Dance" but since this story is going to go Draco/Harry full on after this chapter and since you were able to make a polyamorous relationship work so well in that story, is there any chance that since Harry has up to this point shown no inclination for the male form that if Ginny were to come back to him that it might evolve into a Harry/Draco/Ginny? Or since she is being quite helpful and seems to have Harry's back the most after Snape and the rest of the trio that there is a chance of Harry/Draco/Pansy? Was just curious since your other story got me thinking and I was impressed at how you approached it. Drarry writers VERY rarely have the stones to include Ginny let alone Astoria into there OTP. In fact I do believe that is the first I have seen personally. Nobody was given character assassination and they all came off very human.

-Waits patiently for the next chapter-

    1. Where did you think up that title?

    2. Is this the part where Harry lets go of people? That is IF they want to go.

Whu? I have to wait 2 weeks to see what Harry says to Narcissa?!?
Well, hopefully, Narcissa doesn't 'beat him down' too severely, but
I have faith Harry can handle her.
