I loved this chapter! I think it's my favorite so far! So far I just wanted to shake Harry because no matter what Draco said or did Harry kept falling back on what he believed to be true. It's like he wasn't REALLY giving Draco a real chance... more like he was humoring Draco until he learned better. This is the first that we see Harry actually realizing that everything Frank may have said wasn't done with his 'honest' intentions for the good of others. Making Harry miserable on purpose was his goal and he was succeeding... and Draco soooo pointed that out lol. I think the more Harry thinks on that conversation the more he's going to realize that Frank isn't exactly like how he presented himself. And I am so glad Draco took some revenge. It so needed to be done and Harry wouldn't have done it. Harry being happy with Draco and not caring a bit about what happened with him and Frank will be the ultimate revenge when that happens. Looking forward to that :)

Continues to be good. Meeting with Frank in the restaurant and reading Dracos' taking him down with logic was delightful.
As was Harrys' reactions & thoughts. Anxious for the next chapter to see if Dracos thoughts and efforts take root and what
Dracos' next step will be. I kind of hope we see Frank or one of his other horrible lovers again so Draco can prove them wrong again and show how desirable Harry is..

    Ch. 9

Aha! I wondered when we were going to meet Frank up close; loved how Draco and Harry handled the encounter. What a jerk. How dare he come up to Harry in public and rebuke him for dating a wizard! (Muggles are okay;apparently they don't count. Or does Frank not know about that?)

    Great chapter!

I want to see Draco go after Ginny. That should be fun.

I really like that way that Harry was looking at things... how the conflict between them during school might make him less likely to care whether Draco might get hurt. That would make Draco totally unique in this chance he has with Harry. Very very cool idea.

I must confess that I cried though most of chapter eight. Not the eyelash wetting kind, the 'river down your face' kind. I could barely read it through the tears! I'm *elated* that Harry gave Draco another chance.

    about #8...

Wooow :-/ ...I don't know if I would have cussed him out, smacked him,
called him all kinds of idiots OR done all three. But, NEVER have I seen
someone get their ass handed to them on a silver platter like Harry did to
    Draco. O_o

...until he did it to Daphne & now all is 'somewhat' right in the world. :-)

I see right now Draco needs to come wit' it. Being nice ain't working, where is
that Slytherin from the yesteryears? He needs to attack from side, because being
    straightforward is now working.

I *adored* this chapter! Though, after reading a reply below mine, it dampened the mood a bit. As long as Draco and Harry come out this stage of "One step forward, two steps back" and be in a happy, healthy relationship, this story will be my favorite. No joke. It has all the right emotions to tug at my heart strings.

Being held and in physical contact in a comforting way can really be hard for some people. Giving comfort is awkward except with those I am close to and I have an extremely hard time accepting it myself so this about Harry is very believable. You have to have some trust in the other person in order to accept the comfort of being held so I really liked this scene.

I was actually on pins & needles wondering how this chapter was going
to end! Will he bolt or will he stay? That went for either boys...

I'm glad one thing was accomplished...a small little thing called trust.
