    about the end....

    Aww, is that it?

It's been a long journey for the both of them, I have to say of all the characterizations of Harry & Draco,
I liked this one the most. They felt more real to me.

Also I had my favorite stories in this series, 'Working With Them', 'Evening Star', & 'The Library of Hades'.
Anyway, good job on this monster of a series...and I bet you won't do this again. :-)

It's too bad, Draco would have made a great Head Auror and simply cleaned the place
from the inside out...and by all means go ahead & use the name. :-)

So I take it, this is it?

    1. "Piss it out your ear,"
    - I like that. I think I'll use it to confuse some of my coworkers. :-D

    2. He gestured, and Harry leaned forwards from his own mare's back. Their lips met to a chorus
of shocked gasps, shouts of outrage, laughter, and a few camera flashes

-I KNEW once some idiot asked how they'd change, I was hoping you'd do something like that. :-)

    3. Individual lives are not necessarily expendable, but are not as precious.

Okay, I'm not sure if I mentioned this but..I really have the jury out on Hale.
    Me no trust.

Just a few more to go, huh.

Yeah, this chapter did seem a little TOO calm, despite the screaming...until
that little incident! Whoops there it is! :-)

I guess the chaos shall commence?

I was just mentioning those things [dinner, flowers, etc..] in general, you make
it sound like you would put them in one whole chapter...I hope not. No, courtship
shouldn't be the same thing men have done over the years to the point just mentioning
    them make them sound clich

Looking at this interaction between Harry & Draco, as well as in "Charming.., it
makes me wonder when you get thru with both of these stories completely, have you ever
thought about doing an old fashioned love story?

I mean you could pull it off. I miss the stories on courtship..plain & simple. The wooing,
the music, the slow dances, etc.. you get what I mean?

    Ever thought of that?

You know, I'm so used to the both of them being Aurors that it would be kind
of sad to see the both of them leave their positions. They're really good at
    it.

Besides what else could they do, you haven't exactly emphasized any other strengths they might have.

Question: what would the Draco of the past think & feel about this Draco
    of the future?

...and I don't know about anyone else but I would definitely give the both
of them [Draco & Weasley] an Emmy, at least. They have me convinced. :-)

When are we going to get to the Ministry?

WEll I, for one, can't wait to see this plan finally go into action. Are they
still going to stage it for all to see?

Good ole Hagrid comes thru again. :-) I think I mentioned this a while back, but
when this is all over, Harry & Draco are going to need a real vacation..seriously.

Yeah...even I gotta admit that was pretty good. :-/

...and maybe I have a sadistic sense of humor, but it WAS funny when Draco pushed
Ron hard on purpose, under the pretense he was just 'looking after his welfare'. :-)

Actually, Hermione is right here..... there is always a way around using Unforgiveables if you look for it. The problem is that Harry and Malfoy have been on their own for so long that they have gotten into the thinking that they need to use those spells.

    A great story thus far.

Oh I thought it might foreshadow something like Draco being in peril soon.

..and now we get down to it! At this point I'm curious how you'll do
this and what different strategy you'll bring to the table when it comes
to the Ministry confrontation. By the way, who is the Minister?

Are we foreshadowing with the Thestral?
