Why did it feel like a lot of foreboding here?

Tillipop is truly a stupid, stupid man! I can't wait until he finds out what Harry was really doing at Gringotts and whether the goblins have sided with him. Hermione may be coming back to the fold, but she needs to et rid of her own misconceptions and prejudices. It's always amazing when someone fights for the freedoms of others while suppressing someone else's! Now Draco owes Harry some relief and fulfillment. Hopefully that will be cumming sooner rather later!

Ah and thus reconciliation can begin. One of the main things I loved about the Harry potter books was the friendship between Harry and Hermione. Now the whole Trio's friendship is beautiful, but I have always felt that these two in particular share a special bond.

.Who makes sure he keeps up on his studies and always makes time to help him out?

    -Hermione

.When quite literally everyone, even Ron thought Harry had cheated to enter the tournament,What did Hermione do when she confronted him?

Taken from the lovely people at tv tropes.org-

" After being named the Fourth Champion, nearly everyone — including Ron, Harry's best friend — believed that Harry had somehow found a way to sneak into the tournament, just to gain fame. However, the next morning, before demanding answers from Harry or even mentioning the whole fiasco, Hermione brought Harry a piece of toast, knowing he didn't want to eat in the Great Hall with all the attention he was getting, and asked him if he wanted to go for a walk. Harry later told her everything that happened and "to his immense relief, Hermione accepted his story without question," as quoted from the book."

There is much more I can mention but that would fill up quite a few pages. Now don't get me wrong, I adore Ron as much as the next fan, but Hermione throughout all of the books has shown an absolute loyalty to Harry and stuck by him even when shit seemed hopeless and while the locket may have contributed to Ron leaving, Hermione wore that thing too and managed to keep her shit together.

This talk has needed to happen. Both need to get their feelings and whats been happening out in the open and set some boundaries if things are going to work with them. Find a common middle ground. I may not be a big fan of a Malfoy, but anything is better than Tillipop as a minister. That guy has fallen into the "too dumb to live" category. I mean he should have literally a million different things that could fuck up Draco's campaign, but he sticks with the Harry thing? Hell he could have even tried to sway Hermione to his side when she was still intending on opposing Harry and by association, Draco. With her mind and what she knows about Draco and Harry at his side, he might have had a chance at getting more public support and winning. Hermione should still be quite loved by the people although a few hours with Tillipop and she might have blown her own head off. Draco was right when he said that Tillipop was a puppet, not a politician. He made all of the wrong moves and didn't even try to get some powerful allies, who may have actually joined him if simply just to oppose Malfoy out of spite.

Also, to backtrack a bit and give a few words on what I thought of the previous chapter that I didn't get around to reviewing. I was very surprised that Hermione was more concerned about what her pseudo-brother was getting up to than a man she has virtually every reason to despise running for minister. For a moment I thought she was going to accuse Draco of influencing Harry but instead she was CONCERNED for Draco's well being!?!?!?!? It would have made for some good mama bear drama to see her threaten Draco with the whole "if you ever hurt him schtick" but I enjoy how the talk went. Odd to see Draco get one up on the brightest witch of her age but I suppose even Genius's have some blind spots that can be exploited. Although Voldemort would disagree about that whole “Malfoys are never helpless” line. If memory serves, they were his, for lack of a better term "bitches" for some time after they fell out of favor.

-waits patiently for the next chapter-

Tillipop just screwed himself over royally. I'm glad Hermione is coming back to her senses.

Hermione needs to get her head on straight but at least Harry has his alliance with the goblins.

What restraint Draco has! I would have called her stupid....and completely ignorant. :-)
Hopefully the Common Sense Fairy will come by & whack the hell out of her with its wand.

I forgot about Blackthorne[?], he needs more to do. Otherwise, this was a good chapter.

I'm rooting for Harry, just for the record. :-) And I think he has some good ideas. Sometimes.

You know, Hermione is like that annoying fly that just buzzes around your head, begging to be
swatted. Buzz..buzz, just won't go away.

Ha! I wondered if that was Hermione; it was about time we heard from her again. This should be an interesting conversation! Also can't wait to see the goblins' response to Harry's proposal.

Dun Dun Dunn, Hermione is in the house lol. Draco may be a silver tongued Devil but he will have to pull out some genuine honesty if he is going to engage Hermione in verbal war fare. She is the brightest witch of her age and along with being an excellent bullshit detector and a walking encyclopedia of magic, is still someone who has a special place in Harry's heart, Draco needs to tread lightly.

She knows him more far intimately than a lot of the politicians he is trying to bring over to his camp do and beyond having quite a bit of damning info/stories on him, she is not impressed one bit by him and could derail his campaign if she put an effort into it.

It is natural that she would be wary of his intentions and want too look out for Harry in case he is being manipulated.

Well, glad to see her back and am stoked on how her confrontation with Draco will go.

Glad to see Harry is starting to think and plan ahead more and not just "doing things" without considering the consequences. With that much power, you need some personal limits.

    1. Sooo, how would you start a R rated story??? I'm curious to know AND
    to see.

    2. An independent nation? Well damn, talk about ambitious! But I think that would work. :-)
Why not? Diagon Alley had to start somewhere.

...and how old is Harry, because he sounds like an old soul in a young body.

    3. Man, I always fantasized having an animal to bond with, of course you have your bird, but
birds are rather independent, more so than cats. But, I was always partial to having a dragon,
which is why I loved the Dragons of Pern series, then I thought having a tiger with wings was better
    & practical.

    I still do. :-)
