i'm enjoying the balance the gift of the vision requires. Yes, he can save many lives and directly make the world a better place, but he's sacrificing another part of "just harry" as the price.

I look forward to more of this story.

    Ch. 6

Lovely chapter! Harry is building more friendships, which is good. The scene with Snape was fascinating; I can't even imagine trying to do what Harry was describing, lol. Where did you get the pronunciation of "augur" from? Just curious, because three online dictionaries showed it with a hard "G" sound, rhyming it with lager. Maybe it's a regional thing, like "eether/eyether" for "either"?

Ok, to me, the tuxes and dancing were a little OTT but sweet. The acceptance and small kiss in the chamber were perfection.

I am assuming Harry put the horcruxes down there for safekeeping?

More lovely interaction with Severus. I do enjoy it so much when their relationship is positive.

    Can't wait for more!

Quite a lovely chapter. I'm glad the boys are taking time to really get to know each other. They deserve so much more than a flash of desire that burns out quickly. Harry will help Severus he some new shiny happy memories and maybe make his godfather happy too. I would have thought he would get more of the basilisk than just some venom. Think how happy Severus would have been to have some of the basilisk parts in his private potions store! Vince is going to be a problem but now he's out numbered. The holidays actually make me nervous because I think he may tell his father what's going on and Voldemort will know of their defection sooner rather than later. Oh well, I guess it can't be helped and Harry will do his best to protect Draco and his family.

So, so many things to love in these two chapters!

Harry hugging Severus and him relenting a little in the end.

Sirius pulling Severus through and planting one on him.

    Lucius' regard for Harry.

And that whole last scene was fabulous!

    Loved!

Did you do something different with this chapter, maybe use a different program? I'm asking because the font is so tiny I can hardly read it, and it wouldn't enlarge or format properly to the page size, which hasn't been a problem with the other chapters. Just wondering.

Good chapter. Harry seems in control and is making mature decisions and plans.

Smthe Malfoys join the fold and Lucius shows more intelligence and loyalty to his family than previously done. He now has the cup and doesn't need to rescue the dragon now....such a pity the poor creature is still to be chained. But amazingly, Harry now has a chance at true happiness and a passion that could be history in the making. I always thought Harry and Draco were like oil and fire and now we get to see a true inferno ignite! It should be delicious.

Ok...I've got to say you stunned me with Sirius' reaction. In a way it makes perfect sense. Like a little yo pulling a girls pigtails because he likes her, Sirius picks on Severus because he likes him and Severus just won't pay him any attention...well the good kind at least! Let's hope that they can both see past the past to maybe a brighter and more loving future? Harry's new patronus is so much better and stronger than the stag as it represents him and not just him being his father's son.

This is a unique piece. I like the passion in your characters and the pace of the story. It's moving along not too fast or too slow but just enough to keep it interesting and make your reader want more. I was surprised by the Severus/Sirius relationship but I loved Sirius' admission. That was brilliant.

GAH, it's so AWESOME!!! And yes, three exclamation marks. The conversation between the Malfoys and Harry was wonderful and I love the significance you give to the coins. And Lucius! He actually bowed. Wow. Did not see that coming. I mean, I expected them to go over to Harry's side given Draco and Harry's connection, but I didn't think Lucius would take it in such a gracious manner and offer his loyalty like that, even if Harry doesn't know it. Oh, oh, and the part between Harry and Draco there at the end? Mmm-MM, I could just eat it up! So hot and yummy. Bravo! Looking forward with great anticipation to the next chapter ^_^

Oh! I forgot to add that I adore the new relationship dynamic between Severus, as a father figure, and Harry. Brilliant!

Wow, this chapter was AMAZING! I loved the part when they cast their Patronus and Harry's and Draco's were both lions, and how their Patronuses interacted. I didn't really expect that pull-through-the-floo-and-attack-Snape part with Sirius, lol, but that just makes me love it more. Love the unexpected, and it totally makes sense! I can't get over how much I enjoy this story. I bookmark each chapter as I read it so I can always go to that page and see if there's a Next Chapter on it. Keep up the good work ^_^

    Yeah! New chapter!

I love how this is progressing, nice pace. I also enjoyed the changed potion class and other interactions between Snape and Harry.

Just one little typo nit pick. In the paragraph where Harry is confronting Pansy there is a place where you have "didn't not want" -- which kind of reverses your meaning.

    Ch. 2

In your reply to my review of Chapter 1 you said, "thank you for the review. I honestly did not know it was a common theme, but now I'm curious and may search out for my own entertainment the works of others similar...I am a sucker for Drarry or Snarry..."

There are tons of Drarry and Snarry stories on this site. A lot of them are even good! ;-)

I liked this chapter, especially that Ron didn't throw a hissy fit about Draco. Oh, and wonderful idea about the coins. I also noticed that you know that someone toes a line, they don't tow it. Unless, they're pulling an actual, physical, line, of course. ;-) However:

"Draco pocketed the note, though loathe to leave his solitude, he made his way back to the castle."

It should be "loath," which rhymes with "both" and means reluctant. Loathe is a verb and means to despise or hate. Going on to Chapter 3 now!
