    1. Definitely loved the imagery of Harry crouched naked over Draco, in protective stance of course. :-)

    2. I know some of your readers probably won't get it, but I understand where George is
coming from when he is trying to express to Harry that he 'lost his twin'. That's a bond
NO ONE understands, it's stronger than even fraternal twins, just mentioning the average
    sibling connection, i.e brother & brother or brother/sister, sister/sister doesn't compare,
unless they are just joined at the hip.

I've seen identical twins who just did EVERYthing...play together, fight together, move in unison
together, complete each others sentences. It's uncanny..and fascinating.

Therefore, as frustrating as it is, to see George act this way, I get it and wish he WOULD go to
a Mind Healer anyway, if not that..talk Molly. After all, she's a mother who lost a son and I wonder if it ever
occurred to Harry to have Molly intervene and talk to her son.

    ..and I'll leave it there.

So sad. I think George has been riding on the wagon of self-pity for so long he doesn't know how to get off of it. Worse, he doesn't *want* to get off. In fact, he embraces it; it's now a part of his persona. Maybe I'm being too hard on him, but declaring Harry to be the enemy and forbidding him even to enter the shop? Seriously? After all that Harry did for him?? For shame!

So I guess we'll be seeing the Weasleys clan's reactions to this development soon?

Okay, I can understand that George is still mourning and hurt, but at some point it's just stupid. Maybe a good slap to the face would help.
And George is the one who's the traitor. His grief is, of course, so much worse that nothing Harry went through could compare. Bastard.

    Great chapter.

Not too play devils advocate here, but telling someone who fought in a war to "grow up" is the quickest way to burn any bridges and get your shit kicked in. War leaves scars and while Harry has dealt with his, not everyone heals as quickly. George's healing is going to take all the longer since every time he looks into a mirror he is going to see Fred. Perhaps if Harry had called the shop ahead of time and explained then things might have played out differently. He knows how George feels about Malfoy's and the lack of foresight is glaring. Granted the situation calls for them to be together to avoid being attacked, he DID promise George that he would not have to deal with Draco. It is true that Scorpius, who might I say is absolutely adorable, should not have to pay for his fathers mistakes. Makes it harsher since in canon Rowling has stated online that Scorpius would have had to deal with people not liking him due to his last name despite being nothing like his father was.

    -waits patiently for next chapter-

I meant "a story like this" in regards to older Harry and Draco who have a tender romance. You write stories with romance of course but it seldom feels gentle, shy and tender. I don't think that counts as fluff since you have so many other elements in your stories. You just write too seriously for a while story to be classified as fluff. So for me, this is one of my favorites of yours. You did write a one shot a long while back that had similar character ages and circumstances that I loved as well. It just had the same flavor of a calm building romance between adult men who bond through their children. The reader could taste the affection there and there's no one strongly resisting it. It just grows in a beautiful way. Many of your romances seem to revolve around one sided feelings or one having to convince the other or deep resistance for a number of reasons. It just takes so long for the feelings to be accepted and for the relationship to begin to grow. I can't help but feel sorry for everyone involved because love can be magical. Okay enough of that. Now I feel shy. :) I love all of your work and am really looking forward to another one of your morbid/dark fics that you sometimes put out. I also admire that you write what you want, even if it's "different". You seen to spill out these amazing images that have been floating in your head. I enjoy every single one.

MAybe my memory is a bit wonky. But I thought Draco was only kind of responsible for Dumbledore's death. Didn't Fred die during the final battle and not when Draco let the death eaters into the school?

"And he hauled the no longer nameless, but still really unlucky, kid away with him."
That made me snort:) Even though he is kind of right. I mean Draco and Lucius are both rather nice names, but Scorpius?

That was so hot, but admittedly the end made me laugh a bit. I would have supported Harry killing Draco if Draco mentioned pureblood customs right after they just did all that. Lol. I loved the chapter and how close they had gotten. I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Oh wow. This was just perfect. I loved the earlier scene with Hermione, and the way that Draco reacted to Harry's gift, and of course the bed scene, which was beautiful and hot and . . . just perfect!

I'm so glad you got the hint to do a wee bit more in the bedroom dept., because your sex scenes
come off erotic without being smutty, teasing with no depravation involved [I think you leave that
    for the other section], etc..

Ever thought about doing a scene where it's a 'night on the town' that isn't just the simple dinner?

Oh my thats are soem sweet presents. I nearly thought he would
give Draco a snitch pendant, but there are probably to many negativ
    memories on that one.
