Poor Harry! Depression always makes you feel lonelier than you really are. It's time for Draco to grow up and maybe now that he knows Harry's worsed secret, heis the perfect person to help Harry understand that just because he doesn't have "blood" relatives (we sooooo are not including Petunia here) doesn't mean he doesn't have family! Eventually Draco has the ability to give Harry family of his own.

Well, Someone feels a Little guilty. Can't say she doesn't deserve it, evenif se didn't mean it the way Harry understood it.
Harry is handling with latest breakdown better than I thought.
But next chapter is going to be fun.

    Be still my bleeding heart!

*rushes to hug Harry* It's going to be alright, it's only temporary! They just need to get to
know each other, do a little catching up. :-(

I hope he doesn't go into depressive mode.

Oh, I had read what you said about your TV, what happened to it???

Poor Harry! He feels as if the rug as been pulled out from under him. His loss of Ethan and combined with being put on leave because they think he's suicidal and Andromeda asking him to come back tomorrow because today is about "family", has possibly made him actually think about suicide! Draco wanted to destroy Harry over his supposed hurt at him pretending to be Ethan and now with all of his supports being pulled out from under him, may just get his wish. Somehow though, I don't think Draco is going to be as happy as he thought he would be when Harrynproves just how destroyed he is. Hopefully Draco will realize just how much he can help Harry as he has been lonely and obsessive too. Let's just hope someone notices the real Harry before Harry does something that he can't undo. So sad right now!

Poor Harry, the People around him are pretty insensitive. And Andromeda is a BITCH! How dare she talk to Harry that way. It seems she's still a snobbish pureblood.
Great Chapter. I love the story. One of your best.

Oh my! That was one of the last things that Harry needed to hear after being told to take a leave of absence from work. I'm disappointed in andromeda for saying something so callous. well, for at least phrasing that way. Harry has a strong front, but I would hope that those close to him would see that it is actually quite a fragile shell. Perhaps....he is too good at hiding his pain? I look forward to reading the next chapter. Without the distraction of work or family, will he regress to the fantasy of Ethan Starfall?

Oh poor Harry. At this point I could actually see him leaving the wizarding world or maybe just his part of it and going where no-one knows him to start off fresh. Though he wouldn't see it that way right now. He'd want to leave behind everything because it's just a constant reminder that he doesn't have a place other than as a friend to those that have their own lives but not a necessary part of it.

Maybe then he'd meet others who also do not have any connections to anyone and see how they make their own connections. He was open to adoption with Ginny... he could start his own family with a child as alone as he is. I just feel so bad for Harry!

Harry isn't at his best at work since Ethan got revealed. He lets himself be sweaped into discussions about his personal problems and fails to engage the Dark Snake into a conversation where he has him spilling the beans about associates and locations, like Kinglsey wanted. He even give this criminal the satisfaction of more insights into his private life by answering him when he's about to get out of the interogation room when it already is clear he screwed the interview up and he wouldn't get anything from Gaylord. Harry's getting sloppy.

Reading...enjoying. Dracos' parents are not truly helpful are they? They seem more like they want to keep Scorpius permanently and raise him. Harry and Draco both seem wounded and in need of someone to believe in them...give them some self confidence. They are so prickly with each other especially Harry but they could lean on each other and get the love they both
    seem to be lacking.

    1. Once again, I'm reminded why I miss the 'Harry speaks Parseltongue' stories, so much potential
on what he could do with it.

    2. Well that was almost painful to read...father & son seeing each other for the first time in a long
while. Hope something positive comes out of this....and what does he mean HArry wasn't worth chasing down? Hmph...

My, my..and WHO was the fire breathing dragon and the 'innocent' lamb in this
chapter? :-) I'm glad Draco is showing restraint here for the sake of family.

Now, to get Harry on board...

Good. Now they are in the same country and talking...sort of...sporatically. I'm anxious to read about Harry meeting Scorpius with Draco. Draco hasn't caught on to how very deeply alone Harry feels. Also rejected by the way Ginny handled things and everyone else having their own family lives while he is in a job he is less than happy with and no happy home to go to.

I liked this..it was an honest-to-goodness straight forward [one-sided] conversation, with
no loopholes, trickery and, Merlin help me, no befuddlement involved.

    Quick, clean & simple.
