O yay!!! The update is here finally. Thanks loads. And thanks, once sgain for wishing me happy birthday.😘😘
I really felt very bad that Lucius could not accompany Narcissa to her treatment because of his house arrest. But Ron was quite helpful. I like Ron very much and I just don't feel comfortable with the Weasley bashing in other fanfics. But here, you have shown him considerate, like he actually is. Also, I liked how Narcissa seemed to understand that Hermione meant more to her son than just a means to redeem the Malfoy name. And, how Hermione worried over Draco's safety. Their love story seems to be going in the perfect direction.
Don't worry about your writer's block. You managed to pull off this chapter as brilliantly as the others.
This time, don't wait for me to urge you a second time, though😝😝
    Update soon.

Wow... I'm proud of Ron for being so considerate to the Malfoys even when he has to see that Lucius retains his house arrest. I can't imagine if no one informed Draco of his mother's injury and hospitalization, though I'm sure once he calmed a bit Lucius would have sent him an owl this way he could calm a bit knowing his wife was cared for by family.

I'm really glad to see the Malfoy togetherness. Hermione's tender heart encompassing Narcissa even if only because she is important to Draco is a delight. Hopefully she will be able to convince Gould, and then perhaps emotionally embrace Narcissa for her own merit. At least Narcissa seems willing to make motions for her son's happiness... which is more than we can say for Hermione's parents. At least at this time; perhaps that will change. And who knows? Perhaps Hermione seeing to his wife's care will be a foot in the door for Lucius to see her as more than a stepping-stone to improve the family image, though I still think his seeing her in even That good a light was impressive considering his history.

Lovely chapter. Thanks so much for writing.

Hiya! I am super enjoying this story, so much so that even though I read fanfiction all the time, I finally made a profile purely to follow this story. I havent figured out if you actually can subscribe to story updates yet, but either way, I just want to say thanks for writing such an entertaining story :)

So, Naricissa isn't a biased jerk, she just married one... Well, that;s good. I know Draco will be happier if at least one of his parents is in his corner. Thank you, HG4eva

Sad that it had to take a potion accident for Narcissa to see that there's more to her son's relationship than she and Lucy (my nickname for Lucius) could ever imagine. I feel for Lucy not being able to go with her, unfortunately there are situations in life that will prevent us from being our love ones when we really need to be with them (I know it might be uncalled for me to say this, but this one he brought on himself). At least he might start seeing the Weasleys in a more kindly light.

I'm still amazed of the similarities I still find in relation to my aunt. In case your wondering; it has unfortunately come to the point where she just can't live on her own. We are currently looking up Assistant Living Homes where she will be cared for more constantly. She only celebrated her 50th birthday a few months ago. I hate it, but I know it must be done.

This is a fantastic story and I check this story almost every day waiting for an update. I hope that you will continue writing this in a timely manner (like you are doing) for I will be waiting for the next chapter. I LOVED how Draco came back and talked about his reasoning for not wanting her to take the job. It was truely inspired.

I love you sooooo much, cpetnm!!!!😘😘😘
Today's my birthday and you gave me the best gift- an update. Thank you so much. It was a lovely chapter, as usual.
Draco is so very understanding. I want my future boyfriend to be like him😝😝
But I think had he not initially hesitated to allow Hermione to take up another job, he would have scored more points with her. After all, he's quite supportive of what she does.
The reply that Hermione gave the reporters about their relationship was exactly what I thought it would be. All in all, the chapter made up for a good b'day gift. So thanks once again and come back soon with another update

Draco wants to have her for himself, a bit of a control freak and part of his upbringing... As you explained.

I like Hermione as an independent woman.... But Draco trying to submit her is also a turn on....

Personally I'm a bit of a feminist kept my name when married an all, but as I stated love reading about her struggle.....

I am so happy for her. When push came to shoe, she stood up for herself (at least a little) and spoke her mind. She also defended Draco. Yay! She's growing. I am sorry he had to hear the attack on his person, but I am glad she wasn't swayed. Thank you! HG4eva

Draco knows Hermione is an independent young woman who could stand on her own two feet, but I'm guessing due to the life he grew up in he feels the need to always take of her. Personally, I think he's afraid that if she becomes more secure with money, that would mean their agreement would come to an end, there would be no need for her to live with him, she won't be spending as much time with him, which could lead the progress of a romantic relationship to a halt on her side of it. Hermione might not be at the same level as Draco is in the relationship, but you think it would better to build a relationship without a debt hanging over their (mostly Hermione's) heads. I think it would help Hermione if she didn't think that she was, not sure if I'm using the right term, being rented out.

By the way, I love how Hermione set that guy straight.
