Omg! Best performance ever! I'd give it a 'hand'... lol. That was awesome. That was so hot and they hadn't even had sex.
I love how just before she's about to come, she thinks about how it's going to mess up the piano then goes, Oh too late. Love it. I can't wait for the next one.

Imagine Dennis sitting there at the piano asking Snape to teach him the piece he played. "And those discords. They were somehow beautiful. How did you manage that?"
And he would probably smell it, too, but wouldn't be able to identify the smell, poor boy. He'd mention it to Snape and he'd say "the smell of hard work and joy you give."

I'm a bit sorry for Snape. Hermione just kissed him and a bit later she felt from sky in Lynchs coat. I think, he crossed the line between professionality (it's twistet anyway, because he should be the patient) and personal affection for Hermione a while longer. And now that. Poor Snape,Ormond human and vulnerable beneath his distanced appearance.

"Luna and George need some action’ – Hahahah. I wouldn’t know what you, I mean Luna, would do to him"—What wouldn't I do to him?
"And does that mean we both have really loose psyches?"—I think that goes without saying :)
And Lynch is only a little pervy. Not unprofessionally so. But I know what he was thinking when he found her in the lake (because I'm an oracle). :)
And just to horn in on your other reviews, I really like LeWyKi's comments their relationship taking one step forward and two steps back. I hadn't thought about that way, but that's totally true.
This chapter was nicely done. A little cerebral and a lot of sensual. My favorite ratio.
"When Lynch closed his folder before leaving the meeting, and told them all to give Snape some space, Hermione wondered just how much interaction he and Snape might have had."—Is this foreshadowing?
Like Hermione, I'm eagerly awaiting Snape's breakthrough. What all is he hiding? (Don't answer that :))
I liked this whole paragraph "She also felt a deep, simmering anger... then her kiss. That kiss. Had undone it all." Maybe I just like feisty Hermione. Does she really think the kiss is what made him keep his distance. That might be a tiny part of it, but if I were Snape I'd be way more pissed about finding her knickers with Lynch. Betrayal comes in many forms.
"If it held on, could it deny the changing of the seasons? Could it stave off the bitter onslaught of winter?" No. It can't. (I live a forest; I know these things.) And Snape can't hold out either.
Then we come to the start of the piano sex scene, which was just freaking brilliant.
"...the seething rumble of bass notes in their match of wills against the delicate tintinnabulation of the upper keys." —Fuck, that was a great sentence (and tintinnabulation is going in my word notebook).
And Snape's pot has returned, housing a plant no less. The start of a new life. And it's a sunflower, possibly the most hopeful of flowers.
    Do the S's get explained?
"Or the name that now seemed to inexplicably leap to mind whenever she thought about him, Sexy Mother . . . shit, she needed to find him."—Hahaha! Damn straight.
I loved this whole piano part. This was sexy as fuck. (Or maybe I just have thing for piano players.) This was a great way for her to open him up while he could still maintain some (perceived) distance (the piano). I don't think I could continue playing the piano with someone groping me (or at least nothing recognizable). Have you ever seen that cartoon of Bugs Bunny where he's playing the piano and Dr Jekyll comes up behind him and Bugs spazzes out? That would be me. Thankfully Snape is much more talented than I am, so we get this sexy mother-fuckin piano seduction.
"As she worked her way around his neck, his head tipped back to allow her access and he continued playing with his eyes closed."--This seems major. He's giving her access to one of his most vulnerable areas.
The writing in the section was superb. There are so many little things that I liked, it would look insane if I tried to list them all. Let's just call it a draw and say the whole thing was a panty-wetting success.
Plus, I like how they're both doing this to help the other, but their both getting off on the other's reaction. Hermione's opening him up for trust, and he's opening her up for life's pleasures (and ass-rattling chord progressions).
And then he kisses her, yet another breakthrough.
    Excellent.
I'm going to have to read this again later for extra curricular fun.

Yes, well if I can prepare for my thesis by reading and summarising fanfiction, I am a very happy person. And the topic is more like "Prosody and Voice Codecs" - Focus on the prosodic aspects of speech, but I've also included some emotional speech and singing, because both are related. Structured chaos is my usual modus operandi - people just usually mistake it for creativity. Funny thing, that. But it's been working well for me, so far. And you're right, my Prof did say something about a possible paper - I'll just have to wait for my testing results. They might after all not prove our hypothesis. Two more weeks and I'll know. In the interim I'm going to start making my notes into complete sentences and such.

But on to your continuously interesting story: Thank you for another lovely chapter. I found all four parts fascinating in their own way. The discussion about wizarding social media was a nice touch - personally, I am still mostly communicating by email(and in real life), where I can be sure that I know what to write and who will read it. Facebook and the other SelfSpyingServices (or Stasi2.0, if you have people from the former GDR around) can be quite concerning. And I guess, I'll never find a place without a "Daily Prophet" kind of newspaper. For my own knowledge about the news I strictly rely on word of mouth and parodies - at least I know the bias there. On the other hand, Luna did make another good point - if you cannot experience it, watch it or read about it. If that wasn't part of human nature, storytellers and bards never would have made a living. And in movies, shows, literature and all via the internet we get our modern equivalent of that. Sadly, often filtered by quantity rather than quality... Our not-yet-real couple's interaction was another highlight , so thank you for that, and it revealed yet more development between the two. Their dynamic sometimes seems like the one step forward, two steps back, then a leap - may go in either direction. It certainly doesn't make for a boring relationship. So Snape is jealous of Lynch (I am learning) when even before they started their arrangement, he told Hermione, the Dr war interested in her - despite being married - and had tacitly approved of Snape "helping" her. Of course, we have no confirmation of that from anyone but Snape. Still, if he knew that from the beginning, shouldn't he have expected some "friendliness" from Lynch towards Hermione? Then again, that would be the logical, hardly the emotional approach, so perhaps it doesn't quite apply. And then came the last part - likeable, especially since this time you didn't leave us hanging by a fingertip on the proverbial cliff :) Not that more trouble isn't on the horizon, but some calm and joy now and then is a very good thing.

Okay, I've written quite a bit, again. Mainly because I've just sent the altered plan for my experiment off for approval (hopefully now it will do). Then I saw, that there's a new chapter already - honestly, how fast are you! And so I have a bit of time to read, right now. So, thanks again :) Have a nice week.

"hahah! that may have to be something left up to your active imagination :) "—Noooooo! Luna and George need some action. :) And you're right I don't want to know about the pot if it's coming back. And to be honest, no, I didn't totally notice she was swearing more. I mean, I did (especially since George mentioned it), but I didn't think a whole lot about it. I think it's one of those things I just accept without much consideration. But I should have seen that her loosened tongue was another manifestation of her loosened psyche. Balls.
"Totally, and yet it’s what I thought right back when I first saw the movie, weird huh?"—That's pretty twisted. But I like the way your mind works :)
Not good at Twister? Nonsense. You're just a little tipsy. Right hand red does not refer to wine.
Oh, and being on the edge of my seat usually helps my back. :)
    On to the chapter.
This opening conversation with Shaun was very interesting (I can't get away from that word). The whole discussion about the voyeuristic nature of humans was great and something I've often thought. Perhaps it 's why I'm not particularly active on social media. I enjoy my privacy. (But that’s not so much of a problem for the Wizarding World is it?”—Comma between world and is.)
But even more interesting was his thoughts about the disconnect he felt. At first I saw this as a commonality with Hermione, who is also uncomfortable with feeling disconnected from the object of her sexual gratification; but then I realized it was mirror statement of Snape, who purposefully keeps up a wall between himself and his "partners." But just because you put up the wall doesn't mean you want it there. If he actually feels the same way Shaun does, then Hermione's increasingly personal "therapy" (for both of them), is going to take him exactly where he doesn't want to go (or where he thinks he doesn't want to go). Of course his reasons for the distance could be multi-layered and totally warranted. We don't know why he's doing all this, so time will tell.
Then you've got Luna, who's got the total opposite attitude about voyeurism. She's very open about it and is using it to fill in the missing spots in her life (which Shaun is too, but he feels guilty about it). "For me it feels like a blessing. To be able to live vicariously is better than not being able to live at all."—Too true.
And Hermione is seeing her patients reflected in herself (and vice versa). Yay :)
I'm interested to see how Snape integrates his trepidation about using dominance with her desire to continue. "Yes, my slot is pretty free."—Snort. Me too.
Loved the whole ejaculation scene. Hot. Well-written. Yessss. You stated all the psychological nuances in the story, so I won't repeat them.
And he ran from the kiss. So much said without much talking.
The ending scene was great too. She's opening up enough to bare herself in front of other people. And then pervy Lynch shows up to "rescue" her. Nice. Poor Snape. Angry or jealous? We'll soon find out.
And of course he was marking his territory. That's what guys like to do. Especially when they looooove you. :)

"I went with a more natural alternative – Ginnyseng" Hahahahaha!
This was a great chapter. I could jump right into the big reveal, but that just makes my musings all discombobulated; so I’ll start at the beginning.
The whole Swayze-crazy conversation with George was hilarious. Luna landing was great. I’m curious what they’ve been up to (hint hint). I also like how George reveals that he knows about her and Snape. (Especially the loud private sessions and drooling orifices.) Mouth to snake cracked me up.
Was the pot throwing just a nice visual, or is Snape’s pot going to show up later?
Piano man Snape should be interesting (and the dirges/flight of the bumblebee comments were snort-inducing).
The bound-Hermione scene was hot. (And he WAS jealous of Lynch :)) I love how he’s loosening her up by making her recognize her own desires and then ask for them—out loud—which would be pretty hard for someone so uptight (hell, it would be hard for most people). (with a wet, pop,—Take out the comma between wet and pop.) Hermione’s growing passion is great. She’s not just opening up more to him, she’s letting out her sexuality in her own head too (like a territorial animal she would ravage him). “The barriers were crumbling in large chunks, like the beginnings of an avalanche.”—Love this.
Making her say that she wanted to come in his mouth was just plain hot. Acknowledging the intimacy of the act is just what she needs to admit her true sexual identity. And she wants to remain bound. She’s trusting him more.”His tongue flicked into her ear and she felt every hair on her head extruding like play dough.”—This was probably my favorite line this time. “Her head pitched back as he pulled on each nipple and she felt herself now resting on his shoulder, her face partially obscured in his curtain of black hair.”—I spy your pitch and obscured, tricky girl :) (And you followed it with my predilection for following directions and a satisfying “good girl.” How deliciously apropos.) Saturated slot was great too.
“Dr Granger, you didn’t think you could hide this from me did you?”
She shook her head, embarrassed by the revelation.
“Did you really think you needed all of this? What were you hoping to fit in here?”
The insinuation made her blush and squirm.
“It’s perhaps lucky that I’m . . . hungry.”—Holy fuck. Yes. This whole part was awesome.
“she groaned and her head pitched forward”—It’s pitching pandemonium.
Ahhhh, and then her release begets release. Marvelous.
Then you end everything with the Bellatrix bombshell. Oh my God! That is so fucked up. I knew there must be a sexually-based reason for her stunted sexual attitude (and farmhand clothing). I suspected some sort of assault, but I didn’t see that coming. You’re the queen of twists. And now everything makes so much more sense: why she freaked out about the BDSM, why she’s a sex therapist who avoids sex. This changes things. What is Snape going to do now? She’s responding to the submission therapy, but I suspect he would have gone about things differently if he had known this beforehand. Will it alter his plans, or will he modify his techniques to address the issues that would have been caused by her specific trauma? Plus this is bound to open him up more. Not only does he share an intimate secret with her, the urge to protect and care for her will now mix with his growing affection. Interesting.
I can’t wait to see where you go with this. I’m on the edge of my seat. :)

And here comes our traumatic, behaviour-limiting experience. That is some ending, you've left us with here.
Anyway, thank you for another 4 chapters in just one week! You really are on to something, there. So, now I'm down to four in my memory exercise, another bit of jealousy here, some new revelations about the other patients there, the agreement has been amended, we've found some of Snape's problems and a whole lot to come from Hermione's side. Oh right, and George and Luna make a great spying team...Well, what might happen next? Conversation or avoidance? I think, Snape won't let her get out of some talking at least. Or perhaps some more physical empathy - who knows (well you do, but nevermind that). Otherwise the future remains unclear - my crystal ball won't tell me anything.
Thesis-wise my Profs have started showing some more interest in my topic and are getting progressively more involved in the whole thing (Yes, they said it was a good topic before, but now there are actual discussions) and have approved my test setup.
And then it's Easter anlready, I missed the one hour less, last night - Luckily my cell phone didn't - made another cake for today and spent the day with my mother and siblings. Tomorrow it is back to studying for me, but nothing new there.
I hope you're having a nice holiday and am looking forward to the next part of your story.

Shut the front door! "Fuck" is right. That was one hell of a confession. I couldn't believe it. I can't wait for the next chapter. I have been checking hourly for an update.
On a side note, I'm sorry that I haven't reviewed that last few chapters. They were all amazing. I got extremely sick and between the pain meds and antibiotics I have barely been conscious. But in between my bouts of consciousness, I did read I just didn't review. But know that I love this story and I think that your writing is amazing.
Btw, Luna was Emily totally threw me in for a loop. Loved that little twist. Although I have to say this last twist is the biggest one that I have ever read. It's a WTF kinda twist if ever did I see one.
    Until next time....
