Not a pairing I probably would have read. But my friend sent me this link, and once I got into the story I was completely hooked. The feelings you begin to harbor for Snape, just wrote. This story needs more chapters.:-)

Until...until when? Jesus it shouldn't be allowed but thank god it is! I should be finishing wrapping my crimbo presents instead of reading  this. If my grandchildren don't get their gifts wrapped properly it will be your fault you know.

Is this story being continued? I love the way it's beautifully smutty with a good plot. It is refreshing to see a new idea brought in to fanfiction, although I enjoy certain tropes like marriage law etc, this is a really good and original idea for a story! Thank you for writing x

She would just float on his warmth until she could . . . until she was . . . just . . . until . . . - fluff, fluff, fluff. I'm melting like hot butter now. Please, please don't destroy this moment! If you don't want to give it to them, at least have mercy on us - your readers :D

And now that this wonderful, steamingly hot moment passed, I can't wait for you to plunge us back to dark, cruel reality of the story. Maybe shed some light on how they gonna circumvent Lucius and his meddling.

Mmmmmmm, this was hot. (But I spent the whole chapter convinced it was a dream. Maybe my brain just doesn't like to believe it when things seem too good to be true.) It was also wonderfully revealing. I enjoyed the introspection and revelation. Lovely.

I also loved the whole ending bit where she reflects on shifting perceptions and how she's changed with him. "it was an unravelling of the tight ball of tension—that associated with her constant need to prove herself."--That's great.

I agree that he is in the middle - I'm not sure about the middle, the way I see it - it is more of a very thin tight rope. And he is balancing on that rope, trying to stay on it but constantly tripping on one side or the other. As a spy he has to be constantly in control, control of his emotions, what he thinks, what he say, the way he says it. He has to act sometimes instantly to adjust to the situation and still be in the boundaries of his role. On the other hand, he has no control over things that are literally life and death situations - his life or death. In that prospect he is no more than a chess piece in a very violent game of wizarding chess between Voldemort and Dumbledore.

There is a great age difference, and they in fact didn't have time to became friends, not really. Lucius is too much of a snob and too much of a opportunist for having friends, he has useful connections, and they are...expendable.

Firstly I have been very remiss in that I have not congratulated you on the brilliance of your chapter titles before now. They are terrific and totally genius. Secondly...WTF.....oh Lucius you bad bad boy. I have a soft spot for him ever since my daughter used to serve the gorgeous Mr Isaacs coffee every morning for a couple of months when he was filming up in Edinburgh. From about 6.30 am she had him all to herself for about 10 minutes as he ordered the most pretentious " feng shite" of the coffee world...lucky bitch! I'm a strong Yorkshire tea with a good dollop of milk lass and don't really get the crappy coffee fascination.  Anyway I digress. I absolutely loved it when Hermione launched herself at him so as to feel her own daily consignment of Severus Sausage! Hopefully she is not vegetarian. Oooh I keep imagining what would have happened if Harry had thought to check the map and walked in when SS was just drilling her and demanding she say that he is in control! After all, Snape seemed angry and why would Hermione meet with him at 10pm (and not mention it)? Curious Harry would want to know why... So many possibilities down that rabbit hole... Does he stupefy him? Before or after he comes? Run screaming for Dumbledore? Does he get Obliviated after? Do the other bottle spinning Gryffs notice? Haha sorry, I just love it! I do hope that Hermione doesn't turn into his sub... While I enjoy BDSM, I like how staunch she is in this story and personally don't want to see her give too much.

Mmmmmm, sex in a dark room, sort of a surrogate for blind-fold. I love how this story develops. I do like dom SEV, but I was always sort of had an idea that dom is not his preference. If the premise is correct that dom people usually don't have much control in their lives and vice versa. All tho, he is somewhere in the middle, he either have too much control or too little. Then again, at that point, he has no luxury of relaxing and letting go, for that matter...

Yay! I love how fast you update, it is greatly appreciated and noticed. This chapter was great, I love how you have a balance between story building character development and just straight up hot smut. I hope to get some insight into what Snape is feeling in the next chapter after he lost his control by taking control of Hermione. As always, I can't wait till the next update!
