    Wow!
Great chapter. I love the intricate twists and turns this story has taken.
I also appreciate the the humor (Dumbledore!Slytherin!).
I can't wait to read more, the TLC with which you have constructed this is amazing. The progress and trials of Draco & Hermione have grown them so much.
    Thanks so much for writing!

Facinating indeed. You have just turned the linear plotline into one that delve into the history of Hogwarts and perhaps the foundation of the wizarding world. The research you put into the story makes the story more compelling. Good work!

mm, fascinating! the lessons in english history, i mean. references, parallels, allusions... make this fic stand out in wonderful ways. you've a uni unique elements to the story (mages, rose marks, etc) but you've done it believably and thoroughly, without leaving holes. thumbs up etc! keep on writing.

WOW!! That was a lot of information, but VERY interesting. Your Draco and Hermione sex scenes are the best. I loved that he was cuffed and couldn't get free by his magic (Oooooo...nice touch with the hot wax too).
Draco and Harry bantering is very funny:D It lightens the mood of their dangerous situation. I'm really glad that they have decided to bring Ginny in on their plan.
I loved all that information you found in the HP series in association with history/mythology. It's just fulfilling to know that there is more to the story than what is on the surface. I can't wait for the next chapter. Please write more soon:)

Well, this just keeps turning trickier by the chapter - but in a good way. I like how Hermione, for once, can have special magical powers without her parents having to be purebloods, who are either in disguise, or who have given her to her dentist-parents. This way, where her grandmother was a Saint-Claire before her marriage, and her grandfather is a Freemason, is so much more elegant and intriguing. And the fact that Hermione and Harry are actually distant cousins, is also a nice twist.

The humorous bits are great as well, wouldn't be as excellent a story without 'em:

She took the opportunity to flash him a saucy grin.

    "Evil, evil woman."

    ***

Harry turned to Hermione. "Are you going to let him talk to me like that?"

"For once I'm keeping my mouth shut." Hermione turned back to her book.

Draco raised his glass in a salute to Hermione. "Impeccable timing, love."

Hermione smiled, although neither of the men could see it. "Thank you, dear."

    ***

"Oh, gross. Could you two be anymore squishy?" Ginny demanded.

"Well...not in front of company..." Hermione winked at the younger girl.

"God, Harry. Let's get out of here before they decide to put on a show." Ginny got up from the chair she sat on and grabbed her boyfriend by the wrist and pulled him out of the room. Draco and Hermione laughed, highly amused.

"Would you have put on a show for them, Malfoy?" Hermione asked wickedly.

    "Only if they paid me."

    ***

Ah, humour... Where would we be without it?

Looking forward to finding out why Snape bears the mark of the rose - it's all very exciting!

woah. That's one COMPLICATED theory you've got there. Sorry I didn't review sooner. I was going to, but then...someone, I will not point my finger at *points toe towards brother* turned the computer off, and I didn't want to reboot it and everything...It seems you updated a LOT while I was on vacation, though.

That whole M...I still can't remember the name, but whatever the founders and Hermione's ancestor's name is....is verrrrrrrrry hard to understand, but I think I've almost got it....

    lol.

I'm loving this fic. I'm having a difficult time keeping up with all of it though.

About that last author's note--you should write and publish a critical essay concerning all of that mythology. College professors and students would kill for that sort of research. I know that I would love to see more critical works on the Harry Potter mythos. And, yes, Harry Potter is being taugh at universities. I'm a librarian at one of the branches of Purdue--several of our classes use the Harry Potter books. I can't keep them on the shelves!
