How can you do it? You've written a story that took me to depths, then heights, then wrung more out of me than I thought I could feel. At this point, I actually hurt inside, in my heart and my throat and behind my eyes.

The portrait of Snape that you created is so full and complete that I don't know how I can ever see him any other way, and I don't know when I will be able to read another story about him. But I shall, soon enough, because of authors like you who keep rediscovering the complexities of his mind and soul.
hankhank you - words that are inadequate for my gratitude. I can only hope that you continue writing, and posting, and whenever you do sell that first novel (if you haven't already), that I find it and read it.

Oops. I went to your website and found a link back to SH. Now I feel really silly. I also intend to spend muche tie time in the library reading your terrific work. It just screamed to me that it needed to be at the site. I am soo glad it is. Also, I looked up through your reviews and I couldn't believe that someone had the audacity to howler you in all caps about not having a sappy, happy ending. I think it turned out perfectly. Thank you so much for a lovely reading experience.

I have meandered through this wonderful story at a luxurious pace over the past three days. It is simply delightful. I do not know if you post anywhere but here at aff, but I would like to invite you to come to a website called sycophanthex.com and post this wonderful story on their Severus Snape site called Occlumency. s a s a moderated website and only three chapter can be loaded at a time by submitting them to the queue, but the website is really very user friendly and has a large group of loyal readers who are pretty good about posting reviews. Your story, I think, is so well written and emotionally wrenching, it is best taken in small exquisite doses, perhaps like those Severus would offer if in a good mood. If you are interested and would like to go straight to the site or would like to contact me directly, please feel free to do so. I love this story. Estrilda

Bravo! I love the Shakespearean touch as I can hear Snape speak your prose with Rickman's incredible voice. So glad that you stayed true to canon with regard to him. I prefer OC as Hermoine/Snape shippers leave me cold. I think this is far and away the BEST you've written( BTW- no one can touch your versions of Snape)! I'm rereading it now. _Melanie
P.S. Thanks to you for that very hot Snape(Rickman voiced) dream I had last night!! "More please".

I have read countless Severus Snape fan-fictions. This one is the first one I have read that keeps Severus within the box JKR has painted for him. Who knows if he will live or die...I have a fear that he will die in the series. I remain hopeful though.....who knows. Well written and researched. Good show!

Bravo! The best Snape I have had the pleasure to read, and I have read quite a bit. After he left her I was tempted to stop reading as I was as heart broken as Celia. I did finish it. It was worthly of the effort.
Congratulations, I will look for other work of yours.

Well...I finished it. I'm crying, but I finished it damnit! *sniff* I'm sad he had to die, but I believe it all worked out in the end for the best. You are very talented and manage to make me feel as if I'm really there with the characters, which is very disconcerting when you do the explicit scenes let me tell. . This was a fantastic story!!! And I hope Lucius Malfoy got his ass killed in the end...along with the others who hurt her. *huff* I can't wait to see what you put out next.....I'll be on the lookout.

Jesus, I haven't read a Harry Potter fic in *ages* that could even slightly compare with this! It's excellent my dear; very well done! The style is fluent, and the quotes give it the taste of class that most fics severely lack. Although the ending was not exactly what I was hoping for, I understand that it was imperative for the overall theme of the fic. Again, wonderful job, and also I was astounded by the actual physical imagery- it's detail blew me away! Anyway, I hope to read more from you soon! -Cheers!

Where to start? The past two nights of my insomnia have been filled with reading LLPL. I am finishing at 6 am, so I can't promise how lucid my review will be. I was intrigued and touched by your Severus. I shuddered at his cruelty. I swooned at his care. The last 3 or 4 chapters I read in tears; I've had the experience of wandering through the empty rooms of a place that I'll no longer be in with the person I love(d). Whether you have as well or not, you captured the essence of the experience precisely. I'm not a novice fic reader; my best estimate is only to say that I've read hundreds of fics, long and short, of every pairing. This makes at least the top ten, without a doubt. I send you my congratulations and praise for a brilliantly spun tale.
