I love the name for chapter five.

bring a torch, jeannette isabella, bring a torch, come swiftly and run... gah!! bloody choir.... i even remember the harmonies. If you have ANY clue what I'm talking about, please let me know! :) also, you write well. that was the other reason for reviewing.

Sorry, Curiosity. An original character is not immediately a "Mary Sue." I am not Isabelle, and she is certainly not me. I'm curiomysemyself, why you assumed she was. I am using proper grammar and spelling, I am not using huge amounts of flattering description of her (she isn't beautiful, she's on the thin side, and she's more than a bit naive ... would you have chosen to tell Draco Malfoy he's stupid? Not me), and I'm not having her beloved by the whole school.

Please tell me what criteria you used for this determination, as Isabelle does not meet the above at least, and those are defining issues for calling a character a Mary Sue. Thanks!

    To Curiosity:

One of the rules in this challenge is that no cannon female characters be the main focus. Also, Mary Sues are allowed and even encouraged to an extent. I know that Mary Sue is not considered "cool" but i don't really care. I want my writers to have full creative freedom and I think the cannon characters have been done to death.

Is it really necessary to create a Mary-Sue when there are so many canon characters who could be paired with Draco more plausibly? Nice self-insert.

a very interesting concept here. you definitely don't see many marriage fics involving draco. the fact that you have his character down is wonderful. when he first entered the common room and took his seat, making the second yeaurryurry away was spot on. even when he apologized to isabelle was good. his hesitancy at even using the word "apologize" was good. it's hard to see draco lowering himself to be humble for any reason. isabelle's laughter might have been a bit much. yes she should have laughed, but only for a short time. then maybe dawning horror that he was seriothatthat would have been good. anyway, i look forward to more.

Another good chapter. I was happily surprised to see Ginny called by her correct first name. I didn't even know that until i went to JK's site and read it there.

Good start! I like the way you kept Draco in character.
