I absolutely love this story. It is so emotionally involved. You immediatley identify with Hermione who I think is in an emotional state that everyone feels at some point, but I don't think is ever really done. The story from Draco and Harry's point of view is done so much more often. The idea of lovers who society or parents some external force tells them they can't be together, the Romeo and Juliet tale is so often done. But you chose to do the one everyone feels and I am rather impressed. Hermione has achieved what she wanted. She knows who she is even though she is still evolving as we all do throughout life, she has the career she wants, she sacrificed her relationships to make sure they didn't detour her from her path. Now she has the life she wants, she is ready to share it with someone. Someone to be there for her, to invest in her, as she is for them. And when you reach this point you are lonely you have achieved things, you have a good life, but who do you tell and share your world with. So she gets married to Draco. She is excited that they are going to invest in a life together. Only to discover her new husband has already invested in another and she is just the cover. So she is still alone with no one to care for and no one to care for her. Yes they have to be around each other but Draco will always run to Harry first. Draco won't be excited for her when business goes well, and when something exciting happens in his life his first instinct will be to tell Harry. I think this is one of the most original stories I have read.

I really hope you start writing this story again. You left off at the turning point and I would like to see how she deals with it.

Ohhhh, I see. So it was Draco calling Harry's name NOT Hermione. Well, to be honest, I find that less creepy. I just can't really see Harry as a sexy character (although for some reason it works in some fics pairing him with Draco). So now she is off to find Lucius! hehe

Wait...what?..she screamed out Harry's name? One: Ewww. Two: I don't get it. Why would she be thinking of Harry?
Oh and Three; That was such a hot moment when Lucius was putting that necklace on her. *fans self*

I would definitely be thinking naughty thoughts about my father-in-law as well, if he were Lucius Malfoy! Hermione is funny trying to find someone to blame for her reaction to him.

    RE: Chapter 6
What a dick! He gets her all worked up, takes time out to give her a trinket (like she gives a black rat's arse about it) like she is a concubine/mistress to be placated with such things, and then the final insult to be dismissed and told to go to her hubby.
    :/

Well written, even if I am frustrated for (along with) Hermione.
