I was browsing through the archives a few hours ago when I happened upon this little gem and I must say, Bravo. Lucius and his particular archetype are one of my favorite characters to write about and conversely to read about. One thing that really stuck to me was that Lucius was perfectly in character and there was never a moment when I said to myself, 'As if!' I did like the character development with him about how he essentially learned his lesson in Azkaban and now seeks peace if not within then without with someone else. I also liked Lea and did not find her annoying. With the way you unfolded her character, it wasn't like she was this perfect girl crafted specifically for Lucius by the bumbling author. You actually did what you are supposed to do when writing an OC/canon-character fic and that is to give the OC some sort of personality and give her her own mind and thoughts that are also somewhat realistic.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to reading more of your work, though I will admit I have been on a major HP kick for months now and so I temporarily abandoned my other great loves. Toodles, and happy writing.

I read your story the last two days, and since you always asked for reviews, here is mine :)
I really liked the story, the characters are good, Lucius is not ooc and Lea is an interesting woman. I personally think it's very unlogic/unrealistic that she grew up in azkaban as daughter of the prisonwhore. I simply can't imagine the whole scenario in which she lived as a child. And sometimes in the story you made (very small) mistakes about what she knows/ what she could know/ what she doesn't know... but since i made no notices while reading I can't tell you the exact parts, but i had to wonder while reading. But now I stop being a hypercritical reader ;) I really enjoyed reading this story - and i think i will read anotherone of yours next.

I think that I might love this...especially this line to his tiny kingdom in the middle of this desolate pile. That is SO Lucius Malfoy!

Ah, LaBib...you're wonderful. Such an interesting premise to a story. I love Lucius (as you already know) and you had him pretty in character. The domineering haughtiness was perfect. Loved it!

I so loved your response to my last review. I blushed about it for ages. And I've never had someone request that I read their story before. I don't think I'll be quite as shy in regards to reviewing your stories now. I loved this one. You succeeded in convincing me that Lucius Malfoy would actually marry someone who had been so used. That sounds worse than I meant for it to. But I loved this story, it was a very easy read. And oddly enough, one of your tamer ones in the lemon category. Ironically. I mean, yes there was sex. Lots and lots of it. Some very unusual, but very nearly ungraphic. (For the most part.) By the way, though I've never said yet, you write sex scenes with unparalleled clarity and drowning sexuality. One of the best reasons why I am hooked on your stories. Thank you so very much for it all.

I stumbled across this story while going through AFF archives. Boy, I'm I glad I did! I read the whole story in one go. I can't thank you enough for writing this interesting tale. Your representation of Malfoy fit perfectly with my vision of his personality. I'm off to read your other entries now. Thank you.

I loved this story, read it all in one day :)
I also loved how the characters and plot progressed, it was realistic in the sense that time was an important factor. And I whole-heartedly agree with your interpretation of Lucius, the cunning, intelligent, manipulative, dashing older gentleman. I admire the way you stayed true to his character to the end, him having his reasons and ideals and yet keeping them through everything. Keep writing more stories (and please update).

I must say, I enjoyed this one very much. I started it the other day while going crazy waiting for updates on Prisoners of Love. ;)

A great story, and a wonderful heroine. And of course, as usual, you have Lucius perfectly in all of his lovely facets.
