Oooooh i like this chapter. Very good detail on the house and the rooms. I got a good feel of the place, and what Maddy felt. And oh my god, Mr. Tall, dark and angry brought down by a pair of knickers! Haha, i love it! And i liked that you made the chapter longer as well, gives a decent read. Can't wait for the next one!

Yeah, writer's block really really sucks! Really! I've had it the last week, and i'm not even going near my chapter as i don't want to ruin it at all, as the effort to go back over it to change it wont do it justice, hence the delay. :) I should have it up soon thought, i hope, but i'm trying to get rid of this block by writing other stories to get it out of my system. Doesn't seem to be working so far. I'm just in a slump. :(

Anywho, good luck with your next chappy!

7/8: I KNEW she had to be a witch! And a natural Occlumens too; how exciting.

I am loving the interaction between Snape and Madelyne; he is just his sexy intimidating self to a T. If there's one thing I'm grateful to JKR for, it's making him a Legilimens; somehow that is such a turn-on.

Madelyne's memories are very interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing how her sister comes into it again.

Oh yes, bumping nasties! Lol, I've never heard that phrase before, but yes, whatever you call it, I'd like some.

I love the scene with Severus and with the knickers caught on his wand. It's fun to imagine that scene working itself out in my head.

I'm guessing that there are some really important things to be found in the upstairs store room, since they haven't checked that out yet.

Oh god! i sooooo know what writer's block is like...ugh...hate it. You have all these good ideas and your fingers don't type them out correctly. It sucks!

Anywhoo, i liked this chapter, and i hope you don't continue to have writers block, it'll be a shame, cause i know it puts me off writing until i get back on track. I liked Severus' reaction to the room! Very funny!! And i loved the little shocker scene between Sev and Mad before they Apparate...hee hee nice. *sigh* oh the Severus true smile, you can't resist. :)

Oh, and i spent six hours straight writing my new chapter last week, (though i realise now i made a few mistakes and must fix it...ugh) and sent it to my beta but i haven't gotten it back yet *sighs* so hope to get it soon and post it soon! Until then, Miss I-Have-More-Chapters-Then-You-At-The-Mo :P

5/6: Maddie is trying very hard to adjust to these new circumstances, but I can see why she is lashing out so much - it's a natural enough response. Can't wait for Severus to get uber-involved, though hopefully he won't be shooting her with a stick in *quite* the same way...heh.

I love Snape's confrontation with his former student when he didn't want to allow Maddie to pass through customs. She's with Snape and Dumbledore and still he wants to give them bureaucratic hassle. I'd love to see Snape being audited by the IRS. I used to work there and the agents thought that their decisions were final and unquestionable, Snape would take care of that in no time. There was one agent that might give him a bit of a challenge, other agents used to threaten to turn recalcitrant taxpayers over to him if they became uncooperative; but I think Snape could handle him too and have even more fun while he did it than with the other agents.

    This paragraph is priceless:

Ch4: What the heck is Snape going to make of this? Lol. She hates kids and hates men; sounds like she has a certain snarky quality in common with our dear Potions Master - they should be quite a match for each other. And poor Remus - ouch!

Ouchy! Now that was just damn mean of Severus with the coffee there. i could feel my stomach churning as i read it...*shudders* ...Nasty! I've never been more glad to not like alcohol in my life hehe :) I meant to call you mean and berate you for leaving the last chapter as it was without updating straight away, and alas i got distracted and left it too late, so now i can't...sniff....oh how i miss giving out to people who don't upadte fast enough...then again *sheepish smile* i have a tendency to update mine later then normal now too so...:)

Anywho, thanks for writing this latest chapter. I've enjoyed it and can't wait to see what Albus and Severus make of her family! Oh the dreaded anticipation there! Whew.

Ch.3 - Aw, your Lupin is cute. I don't see him as cool at all, either; it baffles me when I read fanfics where he's a supersexy predatory wolf.

Is Madelyne really a Muggle? I can't believe it!

Good chapter! I'd lay odds that Beck must have been one of Severus's students at one time. I like the way you are slowly building a friendlier realtionship between them, and I like that he has found himself to be capable of compassion even better. I'm anxiously awaiting your next update.

I enjoyed the 'girls day out', next time they have one why don't you include Madame Hooch? She strikes me as a woman who knows how to have a good time and I've read several stories where she is the life of the party. I remember one in particular that had a bachelorette party for Snape's bride to be and the entertainment was a male stripper from the magical world's branch of Chippendales. Hooch ended the evening by pouring her wine in his navel and lapping it up. Minerva let her hair down at that party too and was stuffing knuts down his G-string. It was a real contrast to the party that Hagrid threw for Snape where all the men played exploding snap and wizard monopoly.

The paraphrase of the speech from Hamlet was a nice touch. I wonder if he was doing a little behind the scenes Legilimency before the formal session started. If he was he got a real eyefull and enough ego stroking to last him for a good while.

Pomona Sprout is a wise woman, it was just at this point that I began to wonder if someone had Obliviated her.

When Maddie mentioned the grouch and Sesame Street I was suddenly reminded of one of the funniest Snape pairings I have read, SS/MP (Snape and Miss Piggy).

Maddie certainly had a terrible mother, totally selfish and although she was blameless she did nothing to help Maddie. It's a shame her grandmother didn't have custody of her when she was a child.

I have one more term to add to the bumping nasties and making rauncy love, how about doing the horizontal tango?

I love that you've branched out with Maddie and had her interact with the other professors. I think a lot of people forget to do that and it makes the story very unrealistic. It's horrible that she was obliviated but I can see how her grandmother would think that it was the right thing to do, to protect her. This chapter was really great and I'd offer my beta services but I've really got no experience besides beta'ing for myself, sorry.

Just read the first couple of instalments and will be reading the rest later. Maddie is an unsuspecting witch then, eh? At least Lupin is on the case - I wonder what her story will be. Will her little sister feature, or is she just a scene-setting device to show how sadly single Maddie is? I guess I'll find out when I read on!
