While still dark it was easier reading than the first chapter.

    (Chapter 2)

When you gave me this chapter to beta and I read it through, it took my breath away. This is really just so stunningly written. All the horror, degradation, and desperation of Severus' situation comes through. It's so painful to read about Severus' degradation and humiliation at the hands of Greyback, because Severus is my favourite character, yet I was enthralled nonetheless. In the hands of a poor writer a dark story like this can become hackneyed, degrading into distasteful and violent PWP, but in the hands of an outstanding writer, as you are, the story becomes disturbingly brilliant, taking the reader on a dark journey in which the fear, the anguish, the hopelessness of the characters is felt on a visceral, gut wrenching level. Well done. It's a real honour to beta your excellent stories, and makes me feel well chuffed that I get to read your work first.

    (Chapter 1)

You have definitely got my attention! I feel so chuffed that I got to see this first, and it was awesome. Ginny is one of my favourite characters, as is Severus, and I like it that this chapter is told from her point of view. It gives the affect of the words and the dark and disturbing images they conjure all the more substance, makes the horror of it all the more horrifying. I like Ginny's no nonsense, tell it like it is POV.

It was absolutely painful to me to read Severus begging for mercy. To me, that was, on some levels, even worse than Ginny's trials. I love the way you write Severus, you keep him in character so well, preserving his stoicism, his strength, his integrity, so to read him on his knees and begging for mercy is a testament to how badly he's been abused. It made the story immediately more visceral and nail-bitingly tense. It's dark, yes. Disturbing, definitely, but it's also excellently written, deeply intriguing, and absolutely riveting. I literally cannot wait for the next chapter, so hurry please!

Well you did give fair warning but I hope it gets less graphic soon.
