I think you should have put a warning that there is Draco/Ginny involved. I terribly dislike that pairing (with a VENGENCE) and I'm not very pleased right now...

Yes, it looks like you do have the makings of a chaptered story. Can't wait to see what else happens. :D

So pleased your muse has returned and you've taken up this story again. If it makes you feel any better, I still haven't gone and fixed up that other chapter of mine yet either. Anyways, - sounds like Ginny is rather enjoying all this attention, however misguided it is and I can't help but wonder how long it will be before Hermione cracks under the strain of it. I do actually feel for Ginny though. Although her peers wouldn't understand how she could cheat on Harry, as someone out of that group, I can totally understand the allure of having one final fling before settling down to the prospect of being a wife and mother - snaring Draco would have been quite the prize even if she hasn't actually done it. And if Hermione does let her go ahead and have this night with Draco and he realises it's not the same witch (and he definitely will) I can't wait to see what happens next. Loved it. :)

Forgive me for using this as a way of contacting you, I hope you don't mind and how else could I reply to you after all. Thanks for reading Dumbledore's Portrait and leaving a review and for putting it up on your blog. I wanted to say that you're dead right about it having an unfinished feel like the whole middle of the story was missing. My crappy excuse is that, if you noticed I have another story on here that's 90 chapters long and it took me two years to feel that it was finished and I didn't have that kind of time to devote to DP when I started it (I know, my bad). I had so many ideas going in my head that I could see the story just keep growing so I pretty much cheated and nipped it in the bud. After reading what you said I guess I wasn't the only one I cheated. So if I may be so bold as to ask what you would have like to have read, when I have the time I think I should re-address this story and see what I can do to fix it. But as to all your lovely compliments otherwise - wow, I wantd to go back and read it again just to see it through your eyes. Thank you very much for giving my little ego a big tap. :) Now, how about some more story from you please. :) :) :)

Interesting...I can see there's more to Draco here, and to Hermione. It might be good to see how far they will go.

i'm not usually a fan of one-shots, prefering lots of good unresolved sexual tension for a while ;-) but i really really enjoyed this one...besides the stuff ilke mentioned above, i loved the bit about the competitive glint in hermione's eye, it was a rly nice touch...hope there's more to come!

Honey, that was wonderful! You have a gift with writing the written word, you must continue! And Ginny, I did NOT see that one coming!

WOW!! The emotional pain, the wondering, the need just to feel something, anything, it was all captured here in this chapter. And even though she knew exactly how Ginny felt, knew that she needed the same thing, she still claimed Draco for herself. I am very interested to see what happens next. Well done!

oooh! I was so right. So so so so right. I'm seriously gloating over here.

The real Hermione had left apparently. The reserved, smart, and all-but-betrothed girlfriend of an almost war hero had caught a Muggle plane to some vacation destination in Thailand, apparently. - LOVE IT! But then you hit me with this: before a battle of tongues that rivaled those of knives and swords and bullets and fists, and words that they both regularly shared in. - wow. And then, fuck, then you give me this: He was leaving bruises down her arms, she liked it. She could feel it. AHHHH! She could FEEL IT!

Dude. duuude! Great imagery. It's raw and intense and not at all proper. You've given Hermione REAL dimension and it's fabulous. I want more!
