Please, oh please! Tell me you are going to continue this story! It is one of the best Hermione/Lucius stories I have EVER read! And it was stopped at the best part. Will he believe her? Will they be together after his 2year sentence? Will Draco and Lucius relationship be fixed? How will Draco feel about the baby? How will everyone react to Lucius being the father? So many questions need to be answered! You are a great writer, Keep up the great work!

as english is not my mothertonge i must shamefully admit i rarely review...
but this is just worth it!

    more than that.

i really like the thoughtful, empathic way you outline the characteres i this story, and i admire you for the delicate way you have them developing.
i am in a personal crisis at the moment and i can understand a lot of aspects that are playing in either lucius or hermione. a great issue beig trust.
trusting myself, strangers, friends, parents and how far to trust.
how to play those finelined strategy games of mind like hermione tried at first with lucius, who is playing and for what goals...

i think it is the hardest part in writing to translate the feelings you have in mind concernig a dialogue, character, moment or the whole story into words that describe artistically precise for the reader to understand, yet vague enough for imagination to lead them into the realm that is the story.
you have my admiration for acomplishing this anew with each chapter.
the story really fascinates me, as well does your idea of the hp- characters. I enjoyed reading Catch and Release a lot so far and i would love to read more of it. (it will definitely be bookmarked now!) :)
i am very curious about the question if he will really miss two years of his childs life... i know what missing a parent means in eary childhood and how cruel it can be at times, so i`d like to know the fate of unborn little malfoy.
though im sure hermione would make a good single mother i think she may be able to find her ways of evading this fate.

i wish you a nice week and stop babbling incoherent english now (i shold be fast asleep for an hour as i have to work but i had to read this through!)

This is such a great story I love it and it has the perfect amount of angst without all the dread that usually comes with it. Not to mention I love your style of writing, you don't make the characters actions seem forced or cheesy by rushing them into this unlikely pairing.

Your story caused me to step out of the ranks of anonymous reader and register just to post this comment.
I really think it is that good. As a moderate fan of the HP series I wouldn't know if you fudged some details, but I can say that your use of characters and situations seems to flow wonderfully with the storyline.
However I am quite sure the story stands without the HP world, your writing is easily good enough that you could have generated the necessary background if needbe.
This has to be the first "sappy love story" I've ever commented on, and worse yet, been sorely disappointed to not be able to click "next"...
So, Thank You for your excellent story.
    Congratulations on your amazing talent.
Now give me the next chapter before I send you an autoquill (whatever it was that Rita Skeeter had) :)

    Oh!! You!!

You've completely broken my heart, then lifted it up and gave me just enough hope, then dashed it back down onto the rocks.

    I think I love you.

I am completely enthralled with your story. It's so well written!! You've captured the intricacies of their internal dialogues in such an interesting and believable way, and the lemons are HOT!! To be honest, I usually only read fanfics for the lemons, although I'm always happy when they're wrapped in an interesting story. But your story is so interesting, your Lucius so delicious, that even if there weren't any lemons, I'd still be waiting desperately for an update. Great Work!!

Hermione is a very smart woman and went about that perfectly. But, poor Lucius. I fully understand Draco's hurt and anger, along with his memories keeping him from trusting his father, and I know Astoria is going along with her husband's wishes. But, man I ache for him. To know you won't know your grandchildren when they are so close would be enough to kill most people. But, to know the same will be true of your own child... Merlin! Deep and touching, as always. Thank you, HG4eva
