I have read the Redemption series and Forgiveness and plan to make proper reviews on both (and not sound stupid when I do it).

I just had to re-read this one again since I liked it so much the first time. I had read this first (naughty of me I know) before the others. But this story is what hooked me!

I haven't read Miss Patel Takes a Holiday yet but it's next on the list! (Unless there is one I need to read before that. Let me know, yeah?)

Decided to take a stroll through your Redemption series and the accompanying byways. A beautiful construct. I only wish you'd chosen to have Draco be redeemed by Hermione, but that's my own predilection. Thanks for the lovely stories! :D

Yay for another chappie! RL does tend to get in our ways, doesn't it?

The mental image of Draco in a cowboy hat is at once both intriguing and humorous. Lucius even more so.

Touching letter from Severus to Minerva. Draco's letters even more so.

This is a very nice story and I can't wait for more.

More please, I like this! It's always been a guilty pleasure of mine reading stories where the Malfoys have redeemed themselves, but only if it's believeable. It's hard to credibly do that, but you've done a good job with Draco's character in this one!

    (Chapter 3)

    Yay for the update!

I liked it that Harry is an ex-smoker. It makes him less than perfect, and I like that. I liked the part about him going back to Privet Drive with the intention of messing the house up too, and Dudley coming along and he and Harry making amends. The brawl surprised me....I don't really see Draco as the brawling type, although for some reason I can clearly see Harry engaging in something like that. I laughed that they got arrested, and how Harry rushed to write to Ginny about it before she heard it elsewhere. I love reading the letters, I love the way Harry writes to Ginny, I love this story and can't wait to see what happens next. I'm looking forward to Harry and Draco finding Severus and what he has to say about that, and their reaction at finding him married with children. Update soon please! o

OK, I admit, I am one of those horrible people that read and read and read...and rarely review. Not b/c I like PWP though. I look for real stories, and the ones that really touch me...I make it known! I'll admit, I've read just about everything on your list. I love them all! I just get SO into the stories that I just want to hurry up & read the next chapter!! I don't know if you have an update email list or not...I'll go back & review every story of yours I've read just to give you one if you like! :-) They are amazingly written and it's not a bunch of mindless sex....it draws you in & makes you feel as if you're right there. Thank you!

    (Chapter 2)

I like the burgeoning relationship between Harry and Draco. I like how you keep them in character, and didn't suddenly make them the best of friends. I like Harry's easy goiing manner, and I like it that Draco still has his reservations. I love the letters that they both write home to their wives, which highlight the differences between them so well. Draco is the one questioning the validity of them seeking out Severus, whether it is the right thing to do or not, and just how much of an interruption they'll cause in his life, yet he isn't ready to call the whole thing off because he needs to see how Severus is doing. I like that they're driving across America rather than flying or apparating or portkeying. It like it that Draco is apprehensive about Harry's driving ability; his disbelief that Harry had a real driving license was a nice touch.

And Severus. I love your Severus. I love Severus and Antonia together, and I liked how she defends him and protects him, and he lets her, accepts it, yet he is still so in character. I'm so happy that he's got her and a family of his own, Stella and Joseph Pony, but now children of his own as well. I love it that although he's somewhat crippled, using canes/crutches, he and Antonia still have a very active and obviously very satisfying love life. Lots to love in this chapter, and I can't wait for more.

    Tambra,

I think you are a fine writer. I understand how frustrating it is to put something up and not get the interest your work deserves, especially when you've obviously put a lot of thought into it, so I felt it was my duty to tell you that this is good work and it should stay up. Sometimes it just takes a little while for a fic to gain an audience, but then you've done quite a few stories by now so you are probably well aware of that.

I think this site in particular is populated by a LOT of people who just want to read porn with their four favorite pairings; namely: H/D, H/S and then the het version, Hr/D and Hr/S. Outside of that, you really have to struggle to attain some notice or even accumulate worthwhile reviewers (so much of the reviews here are comprised of "Awesome!", and that is typically misspelled), so count yourself lucky when you get posters who think about what you are writing and can articulate their appreciation.

I have read some of your Slytherin Redemption stories, but I will be honest and say that I usually did not finish them because I am not a big fan of the Slytherins. Secondly, I rarely read HP fics that do not at least feature Harry as a major character, even if he is not the lead. I guess, once again, it is all about character preferences. You keep dumping him out of your stories or killing him off for whatever reason :( so I was particularly pleased to see that this is going to be about Harry and Draco WITHOUT it being a pairing. Lord, I loath that romantic pairing with the heat of a thousand suns and I am not afraid to rail to the heavens about how nonsensical I find them. But, as grown men, I can totally see them finally coming to an understanding and having some sort of friendship. Considering how much you have put Draco through in your series, it is not surprising that he would want to make amends to Harry for the poor treatment he gave him when they were kids.

I do enjoy fanfics that stay within the realm of canon in terms of character traits and the situations that they might realistically find themselves in, but mostly I love a story where we get to see the thought processes of rest of the cast and not only through the eyes of the Boy Who Lived. As much as I love Harry, I am curious about everyone else in the Wizarding World---except Snape. And Draco. Aaand maybe Tonks and Lupin.

But I like your Draco, here. He's a sad fellow, but still carries that acerbic wit about him. I guess I will have to read your Lucius story now to find out about this attempt on Narcissa's life. It would be interesting to see Harry interact with Narcissa and Lucius now. I like the man he has become in your portrayal, and I like the way you weaved the story through Harry's letter to Ginny, touching on that bit of domesticity to contrast his search with Draco. My brother and I grew up in Miami, and then when my mother decided to move back to England, she took my brother and sister with her. Well, my brother has stayed there going on nigh these twenty years now, and how Harry sees Americans and the supposed rampant violence on our streets is exactly how my brother thinks of us. Very funny considering where he started out, but yeah, good observation there.

Okay, I rambled enough. I'm enjoying the story. When you mentioned Snape's anagrams, though, I couldn't help thinking of Hannibal Lecter, hee hee.

    (Chapter 1)

    Well, I'm reading it!

I've been looking forward to this story since you told me you were going to write it, but I certainly do feel your pain, Sweetie. It is really frustrating when people read and can't be bothered to review. I realise some people wait until a story is finished to review, and say that an author should go more by the number of hits than reviews, but I'm not so sure those people have ever posted a story. It is, of course, unrealistic for authors to expect readers to review every chapter, but when a story is first posted I don't think it is too much to ask that the people who read it write a small something to show their interest at least. They don't realise what it feels like to take the time to write, put so much of yourself into it, take the time and effort to make sure grammar and spelling and Britpicking and all are done, and then have nobody bother to comment. No author should have to beg for reviews, but unfortunately, especially on this site, that is all too often what we end up doing, and it really is unfair. I always look at fanfic as a give/give situation. Writers give readers something decent to read, readers give back to writers something to encourage them to keep writing. And while it is true that writers should write for themselves, because they have a story to tell, readers who are reading, especially if they enjoy what they're reading, should at least take the time to let the writer know they're enjoying it. It's just common courtesy, IMO, and I know of what I speak; besides beta-ing your stories, I write my own and I feel the same and agree with you totally.

    All right, off my soapbox....

I enjoyed this chapter. I like the way you're developing the relationship between Harry and Draco. I really liked Draco's confession to Harry, of how hurt he was that Harry had rejected his initial gesture of friendship, and I liked Harry admitting that he needed someone to hate other than the Dursleys. I liked it that while they both realise they've grown up and aren't the same gits they were as schoolboys, they both still feel the need to apologise for their past behaviour. I like the way you're presenting this story, through letters, and I absolutely loved it that Harry told Ginny she rules his heart. Very nice!

I'm looking forward to the next chapter, and seeing Draco's take on the situation, and what he has to say to Liz.

    (Prologue)

I've been looking forward to this story since you first told me about it, and a nice start it is. You're such a fantastic writer, I can't wait to read about Harry and Draco's journey of revelation, and knowing you and the way you weave these fabulously believeable lives for your characters, I'll be sure to stock up on the tissues now. Having read and loved all the other stories in this series, particularly Draco's, I'm looking forward to seeing some of Harry's story now, how the relationship between him and Draco evolves, and what Harry has to say to Severus. I await opening my mail to see the next chapter waiting for "red mousing", each one is a gift and, *gloats shamelessly* I get to see them first! YAY!
