    This was really beautiful.
The way you described it fit the story.
You left it non descriptive so they are soo many possibilities.
I never thought of this pairing but I like it.
    Thank you for writing it.

Wow, and wow! I loved the tone, the writing, and the very descriptive way you portrayed the dysfunction in the family. Severus is dark in this and with good reason. Thanks for sharing this. I will be looking for more from you.

To reiterate what everyone else has said - Wow. That was an amazing twist to the usual Tobias. What a moving and poignant disturbing little story. Well done. Kudos.

Wow! Very powerful! I really enjoyed this. The description was superb, and it kept me guessing enough that I wanted to keep reading to find out what was going on. Excellent! Please keep writing!

    Wow....just WOW!

This is quite a different twist on the usual take of Severus' parents. Usually we have Tobias as the drunken, screaming abuser, and Eileen as the meek and defeated mouse, trying to protect her son from her violent husband. Tobias is still wrong in this story, (and I don't condone what he's done) but he does love his son, even though it is the wrong kind of love. Eileen is the cold and diffident one, and there is no safe haven for Severus. No wonder then the deep, black coldness within. This was excellently written, very powerful and evocative. Well done!

Wow, that ending gave me shivers.

This was amazing, really beautifully written and to see that different characterisation of Tobias was like a gem. What he does isn't right, but the difference from the raging screaming monster (that I myself am always writing) made this stand out for me.

And Severus, so... cold, and blank.

Really well done and thank you for sharing!
