Reviews for Habenaria Medusa

I'm sorry for my first review. It was unnecessarily harsh and has since been removed. My opinions and feelings weren't even caused by your writing, but by other things that there going on. Again, I apologize.

As for my honest opinions about this story...

I think that your characterization was actually pretty good. I especially liked the relationship between Fred and George, and also the relationship the twins have with Harry. I felt that it was quite brilliant. I did wish to see a bit more interaction between the characters, though it's not really something integral to the story.

I think that the grammar could have used a little work. There are many spelling errors, tense errors and other things that could be quickly cleaned up. It's something that a decent beta could have fixed for you in minutes. I think that fixing those simple errors would instantly raise the points on this story.

One thing that did bother me was your portrayal of the mythological creature(s). I wasn't sure if you were unaware of the correct categorization of lamiae, or if you were taking liberties with the commonly held notions. Personally, I would prefer to see a warning about that, if the latter were the case. If it were the former, I'd be happy to provide links to pertinent information, or provide you with the information myself. It's my opinion that a story works better if the reader isn't left to wonder where you were getting your information.

I'm sorry if this is cheap recompense for my earlier harshness. I should have taken the time to get my emotions under control before I left such a harsh review.

I loved this... I only wish there was more of it. I don't know why you don't have more reviews! It's very unique and good. There just aren't enough Harry/OMC stories and very few are this interesting. #hearts#
