Ooh Harry's taking that road? That should be funny when his mate insists on claiming him or courting him or whatever they do. How will his mate take the rejection? I can't wait to read more!

not a bad start so far but you should add more details about his changes, his ears and apparently teeth and eyes arnt mentioned until we get to Dumbledore's office. maybe you should have him look in the mirror before they leave the Dursley's as a way to let the readers in on how all his appearance changed? also it seems odd that Snape would have that info on just a loose sheet of parchment. if you make more sense to have it on a small scroll or have it as a page in a book. i would think if there was such little info it would need better protection then just a loose sheet of paper.

Hmm, that's an interesting creature you've come up with. I like it; and Snape's reaction was dead on I thought, the interaction was brilliant. I wonder if Harry's going to try to say Fred should be his mate, since he clearly didn't know about creature inheritances and whatnot. Silly me, I'm assuming that he has a predestined mate. Is that the case or not? I can't wait to read more!
