I love this idea, and I was all over this story...until I saw for a fact what you planned for Charlie. He is a pretty much a blank slate, I know that, but I can't swallow anyone with the gonads to work with dragons being submissive. It struck me as being all wrong, like Voldemort being a submissive would. I have stopped reading. Good job, though. Very imaginitive, well written and entertaining, I just can't get past Charlie being submissive. Being equal to Theo would have worked for me.

I have not yet read this chapter, but I had to do this now, before I got so caught up in the story that I forgot. Again. I love how much thought and effort you have put into this story; it can't be easy, with all the research and what not, how you've based some of the magical creatures in this on creatures from folklore originating from many different countries. I don't find many authors that put this much work into thier writing, and when I do find them, I get so caught up in the story that I completely forget to review, and show my appreciation. So... yeah. I just wanted to say that.

Finally!!!! I was losing my mind going through the chapters and not having a solid explanation. But this chapter helped, significantly.

This Harry pisses me off. I can't name fingers, point names, or stick it dead-on what's bugging me. But the way Harry is adamant and absolutely dead-set against Seeing Pomfrey is perfectly in-character.

Maybe it's actually Hermione and Ron that are pissing me off. They were never so dismissive or oblivious around Harry. Hermione should have already brow-beaten the truth out of Harry by now.

What's with Harry? He's acting like a schizophrenic squirrel hopped up on methamphetamines.............

And he's apparently forgotten all about knowing the secret entrance to the kitchens(in regards to his food preferences and dietary needs)
He's obviously forgotten the room of requirement (from the previous year).
He's not trusting ANYONE, not even the Twins, which is entirely out of character for him.
And he's not confiding in, or even writing to Remus, which strikes me as completely OOC and stupid, given that Harry knows Lupin as few other people do, and has trusted him previously.

Have you decided then to cease posting updates to AFF.net? I only ask because I know FF.net is still receiving regular updates, but I generally use FF.net for notifications and then switch over to AFF.net for full-reading pleasure, although I realize that most recent updates have had no need for censorship according to FF.net's requirements. I was just wondering if I should keep this link open in my records, or retire it.

Loving the story--and its side-story of the Snape Circle--and eagerly awaiting more!

    Wow, I love this fic!
I first came here via "Rise of the Drackens", which is both obviously modeled after this one and, at the same time, very different. I greatly enjoy reading both and will be looking forward to every new update. :)
Your fic here surprised me by the number of side-plot and complex relations between minor characters. Really interesting!

    (reviewing from Ch.16)
I can't decide whether I love or hate this fic. Tending towards love, though.
It made me cry to see Harry completely confused, lonely and then rejected by his own kind. Formalities be damned, didn't anyone think that *maybe* he didn't have all the necessary infos? Why hasn't any one of the other Dragels spoken to him about his oh-so-bad behaviour? I'd like to kill them all for their lack of empathy. Slowly and painfully.

Well, I'll start off by saying another great chapter and I can't wait to read what happens next- especially between the 2 circles at the beach party! :) Also, I hope that your aunt gets better soon! Keep up the great work and update soon! (Well as soon as you can.)
