things are sounding pretty not good for har. He's on the knife edge of starvation already.
You seem to like making Ron a selfish, violent prat huh. Though, admittedly, the canon character does give you plenty to work with being a jealous, insecure, immature little brat.

If the room is locked up tight, how is it air and stuff is getting in? Does the ward encircle the entire set of rooms? What i mean is, if they made an explosive potion and tried to blow a hole in the back room or the floor, would they hit ward?

    deep chapter
on one hand, a teacher should be ready to always handle all his students the same, but on the other hand, considering Snape's position, his experiences with James Potter and his hate, his jealousy, I think that it takes a lot to see reason and trying to handle Harry the same as his snakes. congrats, evil, for another great chapter

and here Severus learns more about Harry, I'm really glad that you keep this slow going, even if I think Severus could help Harry more if he knew all from the beginning on

oh wow... I finally got a chance to read this story (I am so behind at reading!) and I love love love this!!! It is such a unique idea and I love how Snape is observing everything and recognizing the connections between Harry's behavior and the probable reasons for then. Every chapter was so enjoyable to read. Can't wait to read more :)

I hope sleep will help har, cause he can't keep giving his 'food' away. Not if he wants to survive.
i spotted one typo Abjection when you meant Objection? On the whole not bad though.
i wonder how snape will respond to find out that har has been abused and neglected. You can be he won't be letting him go back there.

I hoped you'd update a bit more often, but well, only because I love this story so much.

    three stories this time, great
I'm glad too, that Snape hadn't told Harry off when he'd had the chance to :)
this points system, you know, I missed it in later chapters, mayby you could change it a bit this time to get it mentioned more often?
    still love the story

well, at least they're not going to starve to death. just enough to keep them ticking over. I hope they can stay sane at the end of it. Being locked in like that has got to freak you out. the idea of personal points is a good one. It should keep them distracted.
I wish snape luck getting theo and har to sleep. He's going to need it.

you know, I always have to think of "the impossible we do at once, miracles take a little longer" when I read this story of yours, especially with the sequel. Tears is already an epic story, but this one is even more epic and I'm sitting on pins and nails again, even if I know the story already

I wouldn't have picked that you weren't a native English speaker... er writer?

I wonder how long it will take sev to realize that har is speaking from experience and avoiding sleep for much the same reason theo is.

Interesting, so the magic is going stale like air might. have they accidentally created a magic free zone? is it everyones magic? What i mean is, is the magic getting weaker cause everyone is drawing from a limited communal pool or does each person have yay many shots in their wand before it's tapped?

Can you survive 21 days without food if you have water? Also, what about going to the loo? sanitation in a lock in situation is definitely an issue.

glad the rest of the castle has been freed up. So, it's not a magical security system, but rather a bad combination of spells. hmmmm. I'm wondering if the portrait hasn't been back because he can't come back. That would go with the 'dead magic' zone theory.

    looking forward to next chappie.

this is ominous. How long will the castle stay locked down? I mean, surely it isn't meant to lock down for 21 days... that would be stupid cause if you didn't have access to water those trapped would be dead by then and what's the point of a security system that kills you?
Are the house elves also locked down?
