ah... and I just wanted to comment on a previous comment that asked about plot holes with Snape's feelings for Harry. Yes it's true that earlier Snape didn't want anything to do with Harry except for what was required and needed. But like you stated in chapter 19 when Snape told Harry that his feelings changed when Harry stayed with him in the infirmary... I think that is a very appropriate changing point for Snape.

Before that, very few people would have cared to visit Snape much less to stay with him. And to know that Harry cared enough that he was even willing to accept punishment for Snape's sake which ended up bonding him to Snape. And Harry also admitted that he loves him when he had his fever. Snape can't deny that kind of proof and I think that's why he's able to accept that Harry loves him. I think that is something that Snape always craved and never thought he would get. That's why I find it so sweet that now that Snape trusts that Harry truly loves him, he's going to cherish and protect him because it's something precious to him.

Now I do agree that Snape would have tracked Draco down by now. As for Voldemort and the Death Eaters, they always move rather slow as Voldemort enjoys his evil plans. The movies may be a coulple hours but the action takes a school year :)

Sitting here with a stupid grin on my face... I just loved this chapter. It was so freakin' sweet and I just love these two together. Snape is protective and Harry is just full of wanting to be around Snape. Totally sweet.

Hope you find time to post and that your move goes smoothly!

I'm enjoying this story so far, but I've noticed some glaring plot-holes you might want to address some time in the future:

    1) If the bond will hurt Harry if Snape is cruel to him, why is Snape starting to develop 'tender' feelings for Harry? If the bond is the thing that's making Snape go soft for Harry, then how could the bond truly hurt Harry if it's the thing making Snape be kind instead of cruel? That would almost suggest that it's physically impossible for the holder of the bond (Snape) to be cruel to his bonded (Harry).

    2) Like #1, Snape is all of a sudden being kind/protective/possessive of Harry. How can he all of a sudden do a 180 in regards to his feelings towards Harry when weeks before he wouldn't touch Harry with a ten-foot pole? And *if* it were the bond, wouldn't Snape realize this immediately and try to fight against it? Snape isn't one to feel something that's false, imo, if it's against what he believes in.

    3) In the first chapters, the Deatheaters are trying to punish Snape. How the hell is he being punished for being a traitor when it's Harry that's the one being essentially bound? They mentioned him learning to be 'submissive' but how can Snape be submissive when Harry's the one living on Snape's whims? And for that matter, how is it they used Harry for punishment to begin with? How can bonding Harry to Snape be making Snape submissive? Confusing..

    4) Why hasn't Snape sought out Draco yet? I'd think something this amazingly huge would warrant him questioning Draco about what really happened last night, along with the Deatheater's identities.

    5) If Snape's a traitor and the other Deatheaters know this, why are they waiting and not punishing him sooner? Seems a bit odd they're 'punishing' him with something that's not really even affecting him negatively. 'Love' as a punishment, in essence? Doesn't make sense; if they wanted to punish him, why not curse him with something that will slowly kill him or turn his brain to mush?

    6) Why is Voldemort not punishing Snape? Seems to me that if Voldy is the group's leader, he's the one who gives the orders to 'torture' or 'punish' his followers, not lower members of his group. Seems almost like the Deatheaters are independent of Voldy, which doesn't make sense. Plus, Voldy is the one who wants retribution/vengence, in the end. Why wait so long to call Snape to him to dish out his own punishment. Just seems odd that Voldy's been silent for so long on this without any of his own righteous vengeance/viciousness.

    7) Wouldn't Snape have figured out that Voldy hasn't called him for so long means he's been pretty much found out? It almost seems like Snape's been out of the loop for months and hasn't noticed; something a spy of his caliber would def. notice, yet he hasn't. Why?

    8) If Snape was found out as a traitor wouldn't Harry tell Snape immediately, no matter what? If Harry really loved Snape, why keep it a secret and allow Snape to go back to Voldy knowing he could be killed for his treachery? I can't see Harry willingly let Snape go back to the Deatheaters when they know he's a traitor to their cause.

Those are just a few, but I hope you fix/address these points in future. I look foward to reading more and I hope to see more from you in future.

well, he might've needed the equivalent of smacking over the head with a mallet pull his head from his bung hole but snape is finally getting with the program.
