I'm so not going to lie. I loved Buttons, this was even better. Being in Snape's head is just so...purrr. I read this with a shit eating grin on my face the whole damn time. So many times I giggled and out right laughed. I've read so much of your stuff over the past few weeks, my eyes have gone cross. Looking forward to more, more, more.

I just first off wanted to say that I really enjoy your style, especially the obvious fun you have with crafting your word choices. It's so much better when you can actually feel how much the author enjoys what they write.

Secondly, are you working on anything new? Hope so!

Keep up all the great work.

Well, what a superb alliterative celebration, or allitebration as I like to call it. I think you've even outdone chapter 3 of Tango which is a pretty fucking good effort! I would have to copy and paste too much back to you if I picked out my favourite bits so I'm just going to give an overall review. Except to point out things like this ' delicate daisy chain of cornflower blue finger-bruises ringing her hips' - which are totally devine!

I've never written any HG/SS marriage fics as I obviously don't find marriage very sexy ;) hahah - but what I love about Buttons I and II is that there is a believable sense that they have maintained the fire throughout their relationship which is sweet and satisfying.

I loved how the previous was from Hermione's POV and this was from his. The two have such a delightful synergy. I always love the references back to their dalliances between lessons (or during). And the evidence that they keep hidden from students.

The opening scene with her new lingerie and his response was hilarious and so well written. And for some reason I loved the description of her standing on wobbly legs between his thighs, I think it was the vividness.

There was so much that had me snorting and smiling - ' How foolish of him to think it was just a ribald memento memorializing eleven years of marriage when, in actuality, it was a courtesy card politely informing him he might not be ambulatory the rest of the weekend.'

I loved 'ribald' by the way. I found one possibly erroneous comma but knowing my comma issues I'm unwilling to point it out ;) It has the feeling of being read backwards . . . I don't know why.

All the references to his broiling inside his coat were excellent and of course the button assault!

Loved it all. Now the question is, will there be a buttons III?
