sorry, just have to register my displeasure with their use of a POTION to tell them the formula.... it just hurts my soul. i\'m a biochem major, taking organic chemistry this year, you CAN analyse things without magic! it just takes a bit more sweat and tears. other than that this story really is fine, i\'m enjoying, just can\'t let that pass without comment
just for the future, don\'t know if you will ever write a similar story, but some techniques that ought to carry over from the muggle world of chemistry to the magical one of potions would almost certainly include purification of the separate elements, then individual analysis. purification steps would almost certainly carry over - separation by boiling point, by gravity filtration, separation between unmixable layers of solvents... identification probably would have to be magical tho, since i don\'t think the wizarding world has mass specs or ft-ir or nmr spectroscopy. then after that comes uncountable hours of searching through the reference books which i kid you not are larger than hogwarts a history (and there are seven or eight of them).
anyways, yes, i realise this has very little impact on your story and i am making a mountain out of a molehill, but it\'s a very personal and special molehill.

Chapters 20-24........ These chapters were FANTASTIC!!! This story has made me love Sev even more!!! I do believe that he is the type of person to love 100% & in doing so would never let Hermione put herself at risk!!! I really like the potion, LUCKY Hermione!!! Looking forward to more!!! Deb >^..^<
